- I love a good fridge clean recipe that helps me cook up a delicious dinner with whatever food needs using up. Cue this leftovers Thai fried rice dish, where I'm using leftover Christmas ham (although it works well with BBQ chicken or any protein from your family Sunday lunch) and combining it with solid wok technique to make a distinctly Thai fried rice. All the tips, all the tricks, all that wok hei flavour I know you love as much as I do.

Please bring it back. It helps me survive my week. I go through periods of losing my cooking mojo and you inspire me every time 🥰🙏
Oh that’s so lovely to hear!! Happy to help anytime!
Please bring these episodes back. I desperately need quick delicious meals for my family. Lots of love from Catskills Mountains of New York
Love this series!! Please bring it back! ❤ from South Africa!!
omg another South African who loves Marion here! 🇿🇦🙋🏽♀️
Bring it back!!! You and your cooking are so fun to watch!!!
🥰 Oh thank you!!! 🙌🙌🙌
So happy for a new video! Special shout out to everybody involved in these videos, especially the camera work and editing. Love it, love it.
This is a wonderful series. Please bring it back.
I am an Indian living in Germany.. Love you Marion from Munich.. 😊
Watching from California by ways of Jamaica 🇯🇲 🇯🇲🇯🇲
I use Micrwave rice...those ones in the bag you cook for 90 seconds but I don't cook it as it is already cooked, I just throw it straight into the Wok.
Very easy and conveniant.
Yes I'm with you. In a hurry yep micro rice is sooo easy to add to whatever you cooking
College student in the Philippines! And yep, fork to push food in spoon, and spoon to mouth.
Thanks for the tip about the oil! I'll try that next time I fry an egg. What I've been doing is pouring oil on wok then wait for it to heat up while I'm prepping ingredients and making coffee. And I'll pour a generous amount of oil (I might have been skimping).
And wow, I'll try tomatoes next time I do fried rice.
Yes, please bring back this series. Being from Hawaii, fried rice is a big go to here and we love the fried egg over our rice. I usually use oyster sauce and Aloha Shoyu, but will definitely try the Thai soy sauce with some fish sauce. Looks really delicious! Wonderful mouth watering video. Excited for the next video. Aloha! Malama Pono!
Great episode, Marion! Repeat this Wednesday series, please. Also, can you prepare some fried rice dishes using brown rice? It would be an option for those who want a more nutritional and healthy fried rice. Thanks from America!
This is my first time watching you and I live in New Zealand!!!
I now am going to have to haul my wok out of the cupboard, buy some new little gas bottles so I can use my gas cooker and Marion’s Thai Fried Rice or sadly maybe just Fried Rice until I can locate Thai Fish and Soya Sauce somewhere here in Christchurch in New Zealand to buy.
This isn’t the first recipe I looked at first. I was looking for an interesting mince recipe and up on TH-cam before I went into search, your recipe for Family Bolognese jumped in front of me and I heard you say eggplant. You IMMEDIATELY caught my attention as I have some eggplants in noticed whilst watering my garden an hour ago that I am needing to pick. So that’s my dinner tonight.
Now I need to cook some rice so I can make this recipe maybe tomorrow.
I’ve subscribed.
I love HOW you cook Marion.
Thank you so VERY much
Margot

I appreciate your comments at the beginning where you talk about tossing "whatever" into your work when making fried rice. Agreed! No one wants to eat a bowl of what looks like the dog's dinner!
Thanks for continuing this series! I love the details and fine touches that you do to the dishes 🥰🥰
- An Indonesian watching from Spain

🇹🇭🇹🇭Hey, so I'm Thai, and I always use leftover rice to make fried rice. It tastes way better when the rice has been in the fridge for a while, ❤❤ อร่อยมากๆเลยค่ะ
Hellooooo Marion and thank you. Bring back leftover Wednesday please.
From South Africa.
I have written to you before via messenger to let you know that I have used you as an excellent example of multi channel marketing in the train classes I run for Ford motor company.
I have also managed to get two of your recipe books (via my brother in Oz) and have made a number of your recipes. Thank you. Such lovely flavours and textures, not to mention the amazing productions of your crew and your laughs and kindness. Keep up the fab work!

This...this... is the 'Marion' we fell in love with... the one who tells us her influences ..why and who influenced her cooking. We can see it on her face... I want more of this cooking... please.
The man requested toasted sandwiches for dinner, it was a miracle he actually chose something the day before 😂
So because of that, unfortunately I couldn’t play along at home. But will give it a crack this weekend.
Thank you for your videos, light and humour.
Please bring back Make it Wednesday 🙌🏻
Enjoy your toasted sandwiches!!! And I hope you love this recipe when you try it in the weekend! 🩷
Hi, I'm Thai, living in France. I didn't know you're half Thai at the beginning. Learned it by watching your videos more and more. Now I'm become a big fan of your channel.😊
Yes, love this series! I am actually cooking fried rice tonight (Wednesday) with leftover lobster as protein 😂
Hello from Connecticut, USA. I love that you are weird and against the Garlic Press! Always enjoy your videos and ideas and attention to detail!
Imagine my surprise when I started this video and turned around to find something in the kitchen only to hear Marion say "Hey friends, welcome to NAKED WEDNESDAY!" 😂 Had to immediately drop what I was doing and rewatch to understand 😅 I used one of your earlier fried rice videos to make it myself for the first time and it was divine, to the point where I bring the Shaoxing wine & Thai soy sauce to Arizona where my family lives from where I live in London. Love from AZ/London xxx
I love this episode! Please bring this back! Cooking from Olympia, Washington good ol’ USA! Bacon fried rice with eggs, spring onion, fried garlic side dish of tomatoes, spring onion with fish sauce.
OMG, you’ve mentioned Hot Thai Kitchen!! Please do a collab with Pai!!! Love both of your channels!
Yes!! Bring this back! I thoroughly enjoyed these every Wednesday!
Watching from Alberta Canada! 🇨🇦 I also love a fried rice when I just don't have much time for dinner or I can't think of anything to make. The kids also like that it's minimal dishes to wash up!
Thank you for sharing. Looks delicious. I'm glad you mentioned about heating the pan. My ex worked in a Chinese restaurant, and his chef used to say, "Hot pan, cold oil, no stick!". Hehe.
Love watching you cook. Thank you. From Ontario, Canada
I've been playing this video on loop. It's just something about Marion' cooking fried rice that's just so satisfying.
Awww thank you! 🥰
@@Marionskitchen Gosh how super lucky being your film crew. Good evening from Brisbane! 😁
Watching from Michigan in the United States, love your videos! I usually ALWAYS make a lot of rice whenever I do, so I can make a fried rice the next day and one of my favorites is your recipe for kimchi fried rice! And I ALSO get the Squid brand fish sauce! I'm fortunate enough to live right by a HUGE Asian market in Madison Heights, MI called 168 Asian Market and I go there for all my sauces and instant noodles.
Listening from Alaska, thai is my favorite food and learning how to cook is wonderful. Thanks for sharing your time with us.
I'm watching from Athens Greece
When rice would be left over my mum would grate fresh tomatoes add them to a deep ,heavy frying pan with olive oil and start cooking them, half way through she would add the rice and any other vegetables she had from the market...salt pepper to taste and a little fresh mint finely chopped
Love form the Philippines! I love tofu, garlic and mushrooms, I include that in my fried rice with some cabbage, green peas, corn and carrots.
Filipinos put a lot of garlic in everything.
Love your top… I’m so sorry but I just came across your channel and I love it can get enough of your recipes I love Thai food, thank you for sharing also I’m Mexican living close to Los Angeles California
Love your channel. I'm watching from a cold and damp (old) North Wales (UK) and dream of returning the vibrant, warm and wonderful New South Wales (Australia in general, tbh)! My only request is more veggie stuff. I'm an odd one in that I'm not really an ethical veggie - I just don't like meat (texture/flavour), so can happily adapt your recipes. But it would be great to learn more about Thai/Asian cuisine that just happens to be veggie!
Hi Marion, I have to admit I’ve never made fried rice 😩I love it ,however I’m celiac and need to make everything gluten free.
When making Asian dishes I must use gluten free sauces, which is pretty easy today, Ayam sauces are very gluten free friendly. I love your recipes and Im going to make the fried rice tomorrow. Thank you, I’m watching from Australia 🇦🇺🐨
Well now is the time to do it Wendy! I hope you find this video useful on your first attempt! Thank you for watching!

Watching you from Poland. I use the same brand of fish sauce, it's my favourite. I cook your recipes very often, and it always tastes amazing. I am not Asian, but a huge fan of Thai Chinese, Korean and Wietnamese quisine. I made chilli oil from your recipe and I can't live without it now

Love from Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. Totally agree about garlic presses. Just ruins the garlic and hard to clean.
Love Make It Wednesdays! ❤from Idaho USA!
The eggs look amazing!
Gonna try that for sure.
I do like the uncut video format of watching you start to finish, and not have to pause the video if I’m following along
I love making kimchi fried rice (because I really love the taste of kimchi). I live in a tiny little town in the middle of Washington state and there are very very few ingredients beyond the "meat and potatoes" stereotypical American markets. So I tend to drive 3+ hours to stock up on Asian ingredients. Fried rice is one of those things that I do make to help clean out leftover things from the fridge. Mine tends to be very vegetable heavy. I use onions, broccoli, frozen edamame, cabbage, carrots, whatever other veggies I have that need eating. One of the things I tend to pick up often at the deli of my local supermarket is either already cooked sausage (it's for their in-house pizzas, but I like it for lots of other things), or I pick up a container of cooked and seasoned shrimp (usually chili and garlic or garlic and pepper). So the leftover sausage goes into quiche, but the leftover shrimp is delightful in fried rice. And of course, kimchi! (I almost always have rice in the fridge, since I usually eat rice as part of breakfast and my bird gets rice almost every day in her fresh foods. gotta use up that rice within a couple of days!) 😁
Thank you for showing your version!
Watching this in Trinidad and Tobago. My favorite fried rice is a shrimp egg fried rice.
The call out for hot Thai kitchen!! Love it! Follow you both and love your videos ❤
I love this series. And, I’ve missed the quick cooking videos lately. I always love the content!!! I love your, and mama Noi’s books. I have always, just as, and Mama’s. These videos are my weeknight staples though that break up the day to day. I love to experiment as much as I can and try anything and everything new
