Excellent video Kent! I am an ultrarunner from Michigan and have run the route from the church to Mt. Arvon many times. There are also a lot of great running trails to other large lookouts around this site. It is very cool that you added the bonus trip footage up to the Copper Harbor area. That is one of my favorite places to solo camp on the water. Keep up the amazing adventures and I will look forward to seeing more content!
Didn’t have much time since I was trying to get 4 high points done on a short trip. I was very impressed with the UP though, and would love to return and explore some more!
Very nice video. I used to live in the Upper Peninsula and somewhere around where you were is the Huron Mountain Club which is a big off limits area where millionaires go and hang out. Henry Ford and Edison and Firestone were members many years ago. I drove to the entrance once and there was a guard shack where they will tell you to turn around and get lost lol.
Thanks for the drone shots my fellow American, before bringing out your drone I was thinking I would love to see it from higher above and you did just that, Thanks again.
I could have done that! Camped at Big Eric's Bridge State Forest Campground near Skanee in 2007 and assumed by looking at the map that Mt. Arvon simply couldn't be reached without a 4wd with at least ten feet of ground clearance. Oh, and I've seen the movie "Deliverance". Just sayin'. Awesome drone footage!
Great video! I actually just did that exact same highpoint trip you did in that order this past weekend. Unfortunately I did not have as pleasant of an experience on Mount Arvon as you did. It had snowed the week before and did not melt off by the time we got there. We had to park about 2 miles from the parking lot and hike the rest of the way in the wet cold snow, something we were not prepared for. But we did make it so I guess that's all that matters.
I think there are bears in Michigan, but I’m guessing encounters with them are rare. Bears usually keep their distance, especially if you stay together as a group and make plenty of noise.
😂 at least I’m out there doing stuff instead of sitting on the couch like you. See my other high points videos where we climb huge mountains out west if you want to see some physical activity.
The drone footage above Mt Arvon is great. The weather and clear skies really helped out!
Thanks! Yeah it was a beautiful day.
My dad and Uncle made those blue signs! And on your way up you see the Eugene Ott memorial trail! That's my dad!
Oh that’s amazing! I would have had trouble finding the summit without those signs. Tell them thanks for me!
7:33 The drone footage is cool!
I’m glad you like it!

Thanks for watching and for adding your insight! You have some beautiful country out there!
You missed the best part of the drive through the Kewanau. How did you miss the Brockway Mountain Drive? Liked your video

Very informative video! Is it safe to camp there?
I’m not sure of the legalities of camping in that area, but I don’t see any safety issues!
Like your videos ken keep up the good
Work!
Thanks a lot!
I've never been to Mount Arvon and I'm from Michigan. There are butt loads of mosquitoes in the U.P.
It is worth a visit if state high points excite you (and you can deal with the mosquitos.) Thanks for watching!

@@JDSly1 yeah the road wasn’t as bad as I thought either. Thanks for the comment!
Been there on 4 wheeler several times. Nice video.
Right on! Thanks for watching 💪
Cool series!
Thanks Logan! 🤘

Oh wow! That's crazy, I bet they get a ton of snow up there. Congrats on the summit though!
Quality video!
Thanks Kyle 🙏
Kent is the GOAT 🐐 🐐
Haha thanks homie 🔥🔥🔥
Consider hiking to the top of Mt. Arvon as well! th-cam.com/video/AFXKKq0_zco/w-d-xo.htmlsi=9H_4ivfuvk-rcSoN
Looks fun, great video!
곰은 없나요? 가족들끼리 가보고 싶은데 위험하지는 않을까요.

Dude. A young healthy man like you “DRIVES” to Highpoints. Embarrassing. Then you review the “DRIVE” saddest thing I’ve ever seen.

@@WhereKentWent I’ve hiked 30 state highpoints and working on more. I’m also 61✌️
@@brocktonma.1816 nice work
