They are called speeders because they are faster than starting a steam engine. I don't remember how many people were on exactly but if I had to guess I would say around two dozen people, in two speeders and one rail truck(idk what the right term is) .
I wonder what engine number that was that got away?? Did human hands pull the throttle after it built up steam?? I wonder these things??? Must be an answer somewhere!!!
Should stop at the samoa cook house for lunch. Like video!
Great trip in your Jaunting Jalopy, thanks, from way, way, South, Down-Under. 😊

Funny they are called speeders but not going very fast. How many people crammed on that speeder? sounds like a crowd?

Island Mountain here we come!
Hopefully some day! It's a dream of mine to visit Island Mountain on the Great Redwood trail, whenever it's built!
Always amazes me how people will continue to talk over a narrative during a tour like this!
Was hoping to we got a look at the train
You can check it out on their website, they have a cool pic of it going over the Eureka Slough bridge: www.timberheritage.org/ride-the-rails

What's with all the conversations in the background?! Is it a railcart train with multiple cars/carts?!
