- Recently I bought a RC crawler on which I saw a lot of similarities with the TRAXXAS TRX4. So, it's time to compare those!

Thanks for that review that was the most extensive one I've seen on a side by side comparison of these two cars.
They are very similar. One thing I wonder is the durability. Traxxas is know for it’s very robust plastics. Which give me confidence to beat on mine.
The arms are still standard WLtoys, but the chassis seems like a more flexible plastic. Nothing broken yet, but I expect that the arms will go first
Just amazing that Traxxas doesn't put the metal parts (such as driveshafts) as standard on theirs. Where would it be possible to buy the non-trx version?

Are the stub axles interchangeable ? I own the HB and I want to order the stub axle extension from traxxas. Do you think that they would fit ?
Not directly I think.
There is a slight difference, maybe you have to trim here and there

I have the HB R1001 and I wondering to know if I can upgrade the front/rear axles to the TRX4 with unlock diffs (adding the micro servo + Remote and transmitter original from Traxxas)? Do you believe the axles will fit and work (lock/unlock)?

Hi, I'm not sure as there are some slight differences as shown in the video. I would rather recommend to stick with solid axles as these are more used off road.
Do you think if you order brass parts it’s the same as the Trx4?

Two at least, 1 steering, 2 throttle.
But I do like to 2 speed, so 3 hi/lo. The diffs can be locked al the time for me, but that's personal.
