MSFS | AAU2 Beta | Boeing 787 Dreamliner | CYYZ-CYOW | RNAV Approach |

In this video we take a look at the reascent Aircraft and Avionics Update 2 Beta and how it has improved the 787 Dreamliner. We do a quick flight from Toronto (CYYZ) to Ottawa (CYOW) Canada with a Departure to a RNAV arrival with a RNAV approach.

Thanks! Yes, I can't wait to see how the final AAU2 release looks. Even now it is a much better representation of the 787 but still a long way to go. I don't expect a version to the level of PMDG but it's nice to have a more flyable aircraft. Cheers!

Very helpful, the new look threw me for a loop, I was used to the arcade version. I’d never seen the pushback program. Any tips on setting TCAS on ?

Hi. The pushback is ToolBar Pushback; flightsim.to/file/15033/toolbar-pushback
It has been buggy lately but apparently they are working on a fix. To select TCAS push the TFC button below the Range knob, the settings for TCAS are selected on the Comm panel using the XPDR button on the lower pedestal but it doesn't seem to be modeled yet. Cheers!

So it automatically captures the G/P when you have pressed the approach mode button PRIOR to reaching final way point?

It should arm the GP and capture the GP when it intercepts it.

So u have to turn on approach button when landing ?

It is not required but if you want flight director guidance for the approach then you need to press the approach button before commencing the approach.
