I've had crypts melt back to basically nothing then come back and thrive. Just keep them happy and they should hopefully turn back around! Thanks for sharing your process!
Hi! Yea! 2 of the 6 Cryptocorynes melted completely no leaves at all! How long did it take for them to come back? The other 4 I think are doing okay now. Thank you so much! I really appreciate you sharing your experience with the Cryptocorynes. Now giving me hope that they’ll bounce back! Thank you! 🙏🙏🙏
@@jhedokings I had a pot split into three bunches, so all basically the same orignal plant. 1 rebounded and exploded VERY quickly, 1 isn't rooted as well but is doing suprisingly well and bounced back within 2 weeks or so. The third bunch is slightly more shaded but has great lighting still and access to lots of root level fertilizer and water column fertilizer, despite all this it has taken about a month to really recover. It seemed like the speed they bounced back was pretty random lol, just keep looking for tiny new leaves growing!
That was smart! Splitting them into separate bunches! I should have done that to save some! Wow 2 weeks? That’s very fast! Ya! I can see little leaves around the main plant now. Thank you! How long do you keep your lights turned on?
Oh okay. I have been turning it off before I go to work and turning it back on when I get back and not really getting enough light hours. Got it! Hey! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and experience! I really appreciate it!!! 🙏🙏🙏
Thank you thank you! I was initially gonna wait until it looks good and the plants bounce back but I think it’ll be cool to show what really happens after planting right? So when the tank looks good we can show the before and after. Ya I thought about carpeting plants. I think like a Monte Carlo would look cool? Thank you again for taking your time to watch and comment! I really appreciate it. I’m starting to feel like there is a little community now in this channel! Thank you so much! 🙏❤️

Hi! How are you? Yes. You are right! I already turned down the flow about 3 notches. I observed and realized the fish are having a hard time with the current and blows the plants quite a bit! Thank you so much for taking your time to comment! I really appreciate it! 🙏

How long do you keep your lights turned on?
@@jhedokings It varies, I cut back to around 7 hours, but when I first planted the crypts it was closer to 10 hours a day.
