C'mmon, singing-along is the entire fucking point of a live concert! I realyl hate shows where the crowd stands dead silent and doesn't sing. If I wanted to here a song without an annoying crowd interrupting it, I would have just listened to the studio version at home.
idk for me it adds that bit of distortion, ye it can die the sound but just a abit of it i think can sound really nice, for example james bay's guitar tone, although hes in a completely different genre, has abit of fret buzz aswell and he talks about how he thinks its good part of his sound which i agree with :)

im actually glad when i went to see their concert i didnt actually didnt get to see them live because then i was like yeah i know like 20 of their songs im their biggest fan but a few months later ive heard a lot more of their songs and if i did see the concert i wouldnt get the full experience compared to now

The guitar is tuned in drop b, which is a pretty low tuning, and is also used in most slipknot songs... that explains the buzz...
