Corey Taylor is just as good at doing comedy as he is performing in Slipknot. If you look up the term "Badass" in the dictionary there is a link to Corey Taylor.
Back in June of this year, I met Corey in Indianapolis and we talked about that Guns N’ Roses concert in Boston. He also said he saw the second official GN’R reunion show in Las Vegas back in 2016, and he felt he got far more of his money’s worth at that show. Plus, he was pleasantly surprised and delighted Axl came onstage early
The way I see it is, you don't have to support Corey or slipknot. He has plenty of loyal fans with or without the haters. The haters are just free press. He is one of the most talented of Almost any of em in the Industry.
There’s something about the northeast, Boston in particular, that loves CT. He even told me himself; “dude, I have no idea why, but this city goes apeshit for me. And I’m so appreciative for that. It makes me feel like I’m home. I’ll never stop coming here. ” We love ya dude.
damn... some people hate storytelling they must have a bad childhood. but i love knowing one of the best front man in any band is really as good a storyteller as this.
The only problem with Chinese Democracy is that it is a Guns N Roses album. If it were a Axl album, people would love and said it was one of the greatest album of 00 years
To be fair, Corey is the only original member left, honestly him and drummer Joel were the only original members from the beginning, and I'm not even sure if Joel was there AT the beginning because I know they had a couple other drummers on bonus tracks and stuff.

Before I was in to Metal, I was in to GNR, back when the original line up was Axl, Slash, Duff, Izzy etc. Axl thinks without him, there would be no GNR. He's wrong, that's why it's called a BAND because you BAND together!
in the gnr show i was at during welcome to the jungle axl stopped the band from playing and said that if anyone threw anymore bottles that they go home
Ok, has anyone else seen that video where the Murderdolls is pranking their manager and Joey has his face shoved into a pillow so no one hears him laughing? That's me after seeing this video... It's 2:30 in the morning, my bf is asleep, but this has me laughing so hard that I had to leave the room so I wouldn't wake him up.
GNR went down hill after slash left. i went to a GNR concert with a friend a few years ago and got kicked out because i was wearing an old school GNR/Slash shirt(an old shirt my father had got back when he went to a GNR concert in the late seventies early eighties) I was told that in Axel rose's contract it states no one in his direct eye line can be wearing anything that has Slash's face on it(no matter how old the article of clothing is)That was the day i lost all respect for the new GNR
after seeing your comment i asked my father about the shirt here is what he said, he went to a concert on 06/09/85 in Portland, OR he said the shirt cost him like $15 or something like that.
I love this guy because he's such a down to earth dude, he's just another fan of good music like all of us, no rockstar bullshit anywhere. Corey is the kind of dude you want to hang out with and grab a beer.
It also sounds like Corey did indeed meet Axl Rose during the Holland Festival before it started, I think the real reason why Axl Rose just got back in his car and left too quickly, is likely due his jealousy of other bands playing the festival. And maybe he had a mental breakdown when seeing Corey, in my opinion he should’ve admired Stone Sour and Slipknot, but I think he doesn’t do that due to him being an Asshole and too stuck up to do that. He doesn’t appear to be a nice person. And I don’t think he likes todays music to be honest. He probably is still somewhat stuck in his ways from the late 80s and 90s but probably is getting alittle better today. But what I heard on those who have met him, said he can be kind, but not always… it depends on his mood. And you have to Pay a lot of money to meet him from what I heard, meeting Axl Rose is not free…. Especially for meet and greets I think it costs 2 or 3 grand maybe more… and I think Axl got in his car and leaves, likely exposes what he does when GNR aren’t showing up on time, he probably and eventually returns hours later. I think Corey is the only witness who spoke up about GNR’s absences from that festival. It was supposed to be headlined by Guns N. Roses.

That's why people like Corey and other bands who grew up liking Metallica and fans will always love James because James brings it for every concert unlike Axl. If Axl wanted he could have had the world by the hand, but instead does stupid BS like coming late 2 to 3 hours to his own concert or the crazy demands in his contract for his tour. The best example is the 1993 Montreal concert where after James accidentally burned himself on stage, Axl didn't go on after and caused a riot.
