Having seen, what I believe to be, every review of the Audi A4 on TH-cam (and most in print) this one is by far the best! I say that now as a new owner of this Audi A4. Even small details are noted here like the lack of a sunglass holder, the amazing lack of space in the center glove box, etc, etc. You should come to the States and review the left hand drive models, where the options are far less complex. WELL DONE SIR

The A4 has not shared any similarities design/engineering with the Passat since the B5 where the Passat borrowed its platform. Sure, the EA888 has been used in both Audi and Volkswagen models, but otherwise they are completely different in terms of platforms (MQB/latitudinal engine placement in FWD/Haldex-based, McPherson strut Volkswagen models vs MLB/longitudinal engine placement in the AWD/Torsen-based, multilink/double wishbone suspension Audi models). The only Audi products that directly platform share with Volkswagen are the A3, Q3, and TT which are related to the Golf, Jetta, Tiguan, etc.
Jonathon, I truly enjoyed your thorough run through of this fine auto and it's attributes all around. I am over here in the States and rather enjoyed watching you tool around in the British backroads and such. Thanks for the effort and fine work
I have a question ! Given the fact that all petrol engines are basically the same 2.0l blocks with different tunes : Can I easily boost the power output of my 35 TFSI with a simple remapping of the engine ? Thanks 👍👍
The storage and luggage pack would be exciting to pay extra for 😂 absolute joke you need to pay for a lock on your glove box. What next... a lock pack to lock the doors and boot.
Mercedes,BMW,Audi have had their day! 6k more than equivalent VW Passat sums it up! Buy a Kia or Hyundai, brilliant value,more reliable and better warranty-what's not to like?
It will be a sad day when IC is phased out. Electric power is not what its cracked up to be - still mostly powered by fossil fuels. All the wasted energy & resources for negligible gains if any.
Tired car made ugly by silly styling updates, daft badging, false exhaust pipes, overpriced options... They are really on the slippery road to failed car... There is less equipment than the previous model.. They just made the equipment optional now in expensive 'equipment packs'..
Audi crack me up. They change designs so regularly that cars age terribly. Just no way I'd be one of these over a Skoda Superb. Way more space, better seats and lower maintenance costs. Looks better too...

i know that the a3 30, 35 and 40 tdi have the same engines and the power is based off the software

I think the 190PS unit of the 40 TFSI has now been replaced with a new 204PS unit but I don't know how it compares.

Is this manhattan grey color?
This one is Daytona Grey, Manhattan Grey is a lot darker, almost black in certain lights.
