  • Glutes (bum muscles) are probably the most important muscles to strengthen and activate them. Use this 25-minute glutes workout before other activities to fire them up, to protect your hips, back, and knees.

    Is it suitable for those with knee pain?

    • @AdellBridges
      @AdellBridges  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It depends on the cause of your knee pain. Take care and listen to anything that hurts. I also linked to a video about knee pain in the description that may be helpful xx

    It seems to me you need super open hips/inner thighs to have you left shin on the floor parallel to the short edge of the mat and have your hips lifted off the mat (even with both feet down).
    I could barely lift my hips off the floor even with my left shin down and my right foot on the floor. Amy thoughts or advice other than be really careful in this pose?

    • @AdellBridges
      @AdellBridges  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't have open hips; my external rotation is very limited. But for sure, just leave your hips on the floor and use the intention of lifting -- like we do in pigeon -- to activate. Hope that helps! xx

    • @swaha55
      @swaha55 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Are you using your arms a lot to help keep the hips lifted? I think I was not using many arms at all. It is more doable to keep the hips lifted using my arms for support.

      @@swaha55 Fo sho girl!!! Without arms is like super duper strength level haha
