Thank you! Theoretically it should stay on 17 hours since it is using 15 watts, but in practice you lose capacity from the conversion process. But it should still last through the night and you could charge with Solar in the day. Now there are USB heated vests to consider as well. I bought one to wear under my regular jacket and it works well as a layer.
@@justinreviewsandrepairs5246 Thank you very much for your response. I had been looking for low wattage heating devices for quite some time and your concise yet very informative video was the first (and only) one that I really learnt something from. By the way, I clicked on the link you provided in the description for the heated blanket but it looks like the link is not displaying the same item that you had displayed in your review. I live in Canada and internet search for budget 5v heated blanket produced a very few results, almost all of which are exorbitantly priced! Again. thanks much for your thoughtful response, much appreciated!
Thank you! I am in the USA so the product availability is probably very different. If you can find USB Heated Vests it might be a better option anyways since it can target the heat to specific parts of your body. I powered my USB vest with the USB hand warmer in this video and mostly just used the low setting. The Walmart in my area had the USB hand warmers on clearance since we are already getting 90 degree weather here.
Yeah i bought the same electric blanket. And thinking about buying the USB lighter
Very good video. One more thing I was also looking for - how long the power station will keep the blanket warm?
