Ravnica Remastered Collector Box Opening #4 - Shocks and Anime...

Back at it with a Ravnica Remastered Collector box opening today!
With an average of about 7 Shocklands per box, Ravnica Remastered Collector boxes certainly offer a solid foundation from a value perspective. I think the challenge is that, outside of the Shocklands, the upside in these boxes is mostly relegated to Foil Anime and Serial Numbered cards. Still, it is a fun product to open and if you do need to add shocks to your collection while scratching your pack opening itch, this is a solid route.

RVR has held up better than I thought but it really boils down to 1) did you pull a serial card 2) did you pull Cyc rifts 3) how many shocks did you pull 4) did you pull a sick anime foil card?
There isn’t a lot of value in Mythics and Retro frames to lean on.

You did the tour of low value anime pulls!
While I love the remastered products the mythic counts are always low. For Dominaria remastered I had a box with only 3. For Ravnica the most I pulled was 5 with the others being 4 (out of 4 boxes)

TSR is still my favorite but I do enjoy DMR and RVR as well.
RVR is better than I thought it would be but it heavily hinges on shocks and anime foils. As you noted I managed to find the very worst in this box… 😂

I do pricing in boxes that I’m opening for myself unless it’s a new set. Then I wait for a few weeks to let the prices settle.
