I stopped playing MTG back in the urzas block.... watching your opening and listening to you brings me back to a happy place... I wish I had time for this stuff again.... not to mention the boxes going back down to 70-90.00... those were the days lol

I was really happy with this box. Especially a couple of the hits at the end and the retro foil fetch.
Borderless Foil Pearl Medallion....nailed the best art in the set imo. Congrats! Man, this was a sweet, sweet, box! All kinds of amazing hits! This is for sure an opening to give others massive fomo. 😆

Did a sealed pre release yesterday. It’s a fun set in limited. Had a really meh pool but found some cool +1+1 synergies. I wasn’t super pumped about this set but I’m feeling it a lot more now.
I got to draft MH3 yesterday and it was really interesting. Can’t wait to do it again.

The most annoying part of the MH3 openings is people saying it funny they printed the banned elemental. The set was designed 2-3 years ago. Way before the fury ban. Sets aren't designed and then immediately printed. It goes through a play testing period.
I mean, yes and no… You’re 100% correct in that sets are designed years in advance. But it’s not like Ragavan, Esper Sentinel, or the elementals are part of the main set. They available in retro frame in the collector boxes and the elementals as special guests. So a decision to remove Fury really only hinged on whether or not it would upset the balance of the limited environment, which it doesn’t. I think the Fury banning was early December of last year so I guess there is a question as to when MH3 went to print. My guess is they would have had time to remove it they wanted to but ultimately felt that it felt more correct to have all the elementals.
i really wish they would give up on vehicles.. lol. there's no way the labyrinth doesn't get banned, right? xD
Phyrexian Tower may be an equally if not greater problem. Grief, evoke trigger on the stack, sac grief for 2 mana… putting 2 Sol lands into Modern and at the same time should interesting.
@@WildcatMTG I've never played modern, so I'm unaware of a lot of combos and things. I watch a couple ppl play historic and timeless on arena, but that's about it. that definitely sounds like a problem though. xD
