    One has to watch out for 3D printing quality. If the material is not flexible, the miniatures break.

    No, it's a pre order 💯✊🏾😎

      Agreed. If the product has not been manufactured and they are selling it, THEN it is a kickstarter. There is a healthy amount of risk here as it is possible they do not actually move on to manufacturing and you may/not be able to get a refund for your investment.
      OTOH, If the product is already manufactured (or in the process), but has not been released for retail and they are selling it anyway, then it is a pre-order. There is almost no risk that you will not receive what you paid for and in most instances your product will be delivered ahead of the official release date.

    Not sure what the complaint is with the painted figure that was shown in the pic. It seemed really well done with a mix of bright colors. I bought the unpainted and will just play with them unpainted since they are just as functional, but thought the figure in that pic looked like a pretty cool paint job.

    Should probably point out that you'll need to contact an admin to get your account on the forums! They're easy to reach on the Discord.
    As for buying classic, 3D printing is the way 😤 And for new stuff, I just ordered a bunch of minis for the new C3V stuff this week!

      100% agree, 3d printing is the future! (of the past)

      Some of the 3d sculpts look like doody, but there's no way I'm ever getting real axegrinders lmao

    Thorough video, Ryguy. I purchased a primed custom Heroscape unit and card from Rogue Scaper. The card and 3D is impressive. A perfect transaction andI plan to get more Heroscape customs from him. Recommended.

    I was wondering if anyone has a conversion chart I’ve been playing since the game came out. But I have minis from Dungeons & Dragons and Marvel that I have packs for but some heroes. I’d like to add. I just don’t know how to convert them over. Is there a conversion chart so you can customize your own Hero scape minis?

      There's tons of customs to browse on Heroscapers.com if you're interested!

    Sigh... If only I was good at painting. Seems like I have no choice but to get the painted master set.

    • @ryguyplaysgames
      @ryguyplaysgames  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I’d recommend giving it a shot at least! It’s a skill that will be very costly not to have moving forward with Heroscape

      @@ryguyplaysgames Buying the paint and brushes alone are probably going to run me up to the painted master set price, if not more. Also, I just have a fear of messing up the figure anyways, as I lack steady hands : /

    • @ryguyplaysgames
      @ryguyplaysgames  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@AustinMumford That's a common misconception. You can get a large set of speedpaints (what RogueScaper will use in his tutorials) for about $65 and a decent set of brushes for $20-30. And those will probably last you through the rest of the Renegade releases!

    As a longtime casual abroad I got quite lucky on ibäh, bundling to min shipping fees but got ordered into customs every other time, not believing that I spent that amount on figurines;o)
    And thx for/to the devoted community! I'd rather financially support production of the awesome custom C3V waves (filling synergy gaps, balancing, playtested and upcycling existing plastic^^) than... who am I kidding, I'll get it all, eventually, just not from those kants^^ Sue the scammers!
    Thx, keep it up

    What is a battle box? I don't know any of these terms for this game. I am interested in getting in on the new sets but have no idea what is going on, help please.

    • @ryguyplaysgames
      @ryguyplaysgames  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Sure! A battle box has just 6 figures an a handful of terrain-basically enough to get started. It’s a cheaper entry point than a master set, which has a bunch of figures and terrain, while still containing everything you need to play the game.
