    “Don’t mind fuck your self and say you can’t do it ! Just power thru it” best advice ever given for an addict in withdrawal.❤️

      I recommend taking the taper at your own pace. It depends on how fast you want to go or how determined you are to quit or how much suffering you want to go through. People taper with little or no symptoms but it can take years to taper that way. I’d say Cut it in half and then in half again when you feel comfortable. 12mgs are strips right? So that is good because it is easier to cut them up. My best tapers were when I would jump off till I couldn’t take it anymore and then I would cut my strip into 8 pieces and leave them on a plate in the cabinet and eat one a day when stuff was getting hard. It worked well but it was hard. Just a tiny dose goes along way to ease symptoms because the recommended dose in the united states is ten times then recommended dose in the uk. I think we take way too much. Taking small amounts is better than jumping all the way off.

      You can taper from 12 mg a day down to 4 pretty painlessly. I would say reduce by 2 mg a week until you get down to 4 and then go down 0.5 mg/week from there. Till you get to 0.5 mg/day then go down 0.1 mg a week. The easiest way to dose it is to dissolve the strip in a small container of liquid and dose it by squirting the liquid under the tongue. You can dose very accurately this way down to a tenth of a milligram

    Day 12 for me and I still dont sleep, I'm lethargic, and I got that deep yuck feeling. Cant explain it but it sucks bad. I do walk my dogs now and cook and clean. Dont eat much still

      I know the yuck feeling. Lol No need for explanation. I went to work with two backup pairs of socks for a year because of the sweating
      Its funny ... When withdrawing, all day I just wanted to sleep but when I got to bed I couldn't. I'd flop like a fish out of water in my bed all night. I didn't really sleep more than 4hrs most nights for a while and that's if I was lucky and wore out from the day. Everyone is different. But one day at a time. Keep moving. Walking dogs and or riding bikes with the kids definitely helped me. Its the best medicine. Especially for restless legs. If you've made it to day twelve I know you can make it 12 more!! And the second twelve will be easier. Don't give up. My heart is with you.

    Restless legs? Do you mean horrible cramping?

    • @TruthLivesHere
      @TruthLivesHere  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Cramping was bad and restless legs is this weird feeling you get in the hips and thighs. It’s very uncomfortable. It comes from not moving around enough.

    Omgeez , I went to day twenty without being able to eat then I got hungry for protein cravings, meat, eggs and protein shakes. I am glad you said that. It takes forever for these long term opiates like subutex to get out of your body. How are you doing now?
