Apparently the GR corolla overheats the AWD very easily and the engine reduces power from overheating too. Moreover, the engine suffers from valve float which can blow up the engine
When pushed around a track on grippier 200tw tires for 15+min straight, the clutch pack heat sensor switches it to FWD mode. No power loss, no limp mode. Keep driving as hard as you want. Valve float in the G16E occurs when tuned over 350+hp. I daily and track my GRC, so that’s my source. Fact check your sources before misleading others.

@airshredder7314 you actually believe the other car manufacturers weren't doing similar? If you watch the documentary on the diesel dieselgate scandal Mercedes and BMW were doing the same thing. On the gasoline engine front almost every manufacturer was doing some sort of "trick" which is why the cars of that era all suddenly had "software updates"

As a GR Yaris owner I’d take the GR Corolla over the other two any day. Toyota GR make them such fun drivers cars.

That was VW's diesel engine, not the current Golf R powerplant.
