You know, usually I don’t use presents unless I’ve made them myself, and even then it’s very subtle. These are way beyond what I’d ever make. I can’t even imagine how much effort went into making them! Probably the first time I’ve seen advertised presets worth buying
Brilliant Jamie!! I really only get time to go out and shoot at night (new dad) and have been solely shooting Cinestill 800 film. They don't sell 120 here anymore where I am in China and people have been reselling old stock upwards of 40 euro a roll. It's costing me about 15 euro a roll for 35mm and the price just seems to be going up and up. I also do all my own developing and scanning, as where I live I don't have a choice, and it has become very time consuming. This is the best preset I've seen for Cinestill, so much so, I think I'll be selling a few cameras and making the jump to digital. Thanks again! Love your channel
What you've created here is truly special and unique. I really appreciate you covering your whole workflow and your'e thinking behind recreating the same look as the stock. I picked these up and I'm very please with the colors I'm getting in Lightroom and the photo effects in Photoshop. I just only wish these were available LUTs for video grading.
I guess Im randomly asking but does anyone know a method to get back into an Instagram account? I was stupid lost my login password. I would love any tricks you can give me
@Jake Jacob I really appreciate your reply. I found the site through google and im in the hacking process now. I see it takes quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
I don't usually buy presets. Especially not on TH-cam. But I've learned so much from your videos and I can imagine how much love and detail you put into these presets, so I'm definitely going to buy them now!
Very glad to see you recovering! I need my monthly JW fix! I really enjoy your perspective and all the educational/historical stuff. I miss college..lol A lot of the concepts, techniques and insights that you go over, I find myself considering a lot when I shoot and it’s guiding me more towards taking shots with a purpose and intention...which is something I really crave. Thank you very much for all your research and passing that knowledge along to all of us!
I already have the 50 D Cinestil from your medium format presets, however, I'm going to buy it because I want to support the incredible work you do. I'm waiting as many of us here the portra version . Thank you is not enough for your hard work. Personally, I have seen my work evolving since I started working with your presets and watching your channel. By the way, even though I am not a street photographer but a portrait photographer, these presets inspired me to go out at night and photograph. Thank you again, Jamie.
Thank you. It’s really good to hear your work is evolving. I’m sure you deserve the credit there though. Portra will be out early next year. Oh, and just to note: this 50d is a different version to the one in the medium format pack. I’ve developed it a bit.
every time i see a LR preset video from you Jamie I know it will be a great one, and this one is no different. This is my third preset I purchased from you and again it works like a charm. Well done one more time! Happy Holidays
Fantastic images Jamie. The pack came out great, worth the wait :) Would love to know what lenses you shot those portraits of your family? Loved the look of them.
Hi Jamie, I just bought the presets and used them to edit some Christmas portraits of my family (with the 50D 120). It already paid off for me and I appreciate your product very much. I like the frames too. Thank you and have a nice Christmas
You did again and just in time for the end of the year ! I have been shooting this film stock for a while and I can't wait to try this on my RAW files.
These are really good. Thanks for helping digital cameras get more vibe! I've been scouring the Internet trying to find the highest quality film style solutions. By far your attention to detail and eye for quality have created what I believe to be some of the most convincing emulations available.
Glad you're back from that health issue. I love your presets. Just one note. On the first example for Cinestill 800T (The building with the parking structure), the three lights on the right didn't get the red halo after applying your Photoshop action. Happy holidays Jamie!
The auto features don't work perfectly every time. This is why there are different variations of them - different sensitivities. It's impossible for Photoshop to know what are lights and what are just highlights, but it basis its selection on the brightness and size of the white areas. It's a question of balancing getting all the lights, but not adding halation to all the light areas. There are actions in the pack too that let you manually select what are the lights.
It’s difficult to know what’s happening without seeing it. It could be that maybe your image isn’t bright enough for it to recognise any parts that could be lights. Email me from my website and we’ll get it sorted.
This looks like a lot of fun to play with! It is interesting that you also include photoshop actions in this preset pack! Feel better soon and happy 2021!
At some point I started seeing so much CineStill 800T on instagram that I even commented that was just a matter of time untill someone came up with a preset emulating it. I'm glad it was you.
I actually made it because I was getting so many requests for it. I must admit, it’s not my go-to stock for serious shooting. But I can’t deny that I had a lot of fun shooting it.
@@jamiewindsor they look amazing Jamie and will probably get them to support your Chanel , but didn't you say you were working on a refine version of Portra ??

He’s a guest and his interview is split in two episodes.
Thanks a lot man
I bought these but the frames aren't working.
Check to see if lens correction is turned on. Sometimes some lenses require a high level of correction and the frame can be cropped out of shot.
@@jamiewindsor It is off but it's still not showing the frames
@@wideawake94 Do you have the pack where the frames are part of the Cinestill collection or the pack where the frames have their own folder? If it’s the former and you’re using Lightroom after the 2022 update, you will need the second pack. Email me with your transaction number and I will send you it. (From my website jamiewindsor.com)
@@jamiewindsor I have the pack where the frames have their own folder. It works fine on Lightroom CC just not on Classic, which is what I use mostly.
@@wideawake94 Are you using the latest version of classic (2022)?
did I see Metro Bank store in Bullring? :D
noup different pavement but it so close
when in my first semester like 1,5 years ago i also did a script to run those red halation’s and it works very well. i based it off a blog post of wzimmermann.net where he discribed his process in creating this effect.
but to be honest to all of you beginners or content creators, these presets and scripts look so well made you should definitely consider getting these and saving a ton of time (and money, 800t is painfully expensive)!
Shoot 800T 🎞 in Daylight with an Orangefilter 👌🏻
That's an interesting idea.
@@jamiewindsor But the ASA/ISO is also changing to 320 ☝🏻in Daylight.
Looks really nice
