As well as that, the panel will be challenging the Prime Minister about the issues that matter most to our viewers including pensions, housing, knife crime, and women’s health. @@RTG1031 He was given plenty of chances, but he chose to ignore the questions he was asked, and attempted to deflect and change the subject. Judi wasn't going to let him get away with skirting around her questions and I applaud her for that.
Hardly his fault. He was faced with a barage of unconnected questions and everyone clumsily trying to land a killer point.
Is he rich? Yes, but he's everyone's PM not just PM for a group of people others feel sympathy for.
I don't expect my doctor to have had cancer before trusting his judgment on how to treat it.
Does he hate pensioners? I mean, get a grip. Again, he's everyone's PM and if the government wants to reduce national insurance for 30m workers in circumstances where it has already guaranteed the triple lock, then that is a legitimate and reasonable decision. It doesn't mean he hates people who don't pay national insurance.

@CarysCantDance I have to disagree. Often he would be starting to answer a question when they would fire 3 more questions. With Judy's opening monologue, she mentioned multiple topics which required more than a one word answer and would have taken till the end of the show to answer fully.

I'm a woman I used to rent a home. I've now moved out and lived in a white van because I just can't afford gas, electricity and water. I get my food from food banks. I had to put my kids in care because everything has become so expensive. He's not answering the questions his answers is all over the place! People are poor and suffering its not funny!

He is completely out of touch but he is right about parents taking responsibility over their kids social media and Internet use. What is more important than your child? Schools cannot be expected to mop up the ills of society all the time. Speaking as a teacher and a parent myself.

I am almost 40 years old and I have had move back into parents house because I cannot either buy a house because it is out of my reach or renting (which I was recently doing) was killing me. When he sits there thinking everything is fine and dandy; it frankly boils my blood. I work everyday to simply survive not to enjoy life but to simply survive. I have a sister at 17 years old, I fear for her generation.

You beat me to it, a record number of disabled people are taking their lives because of the sheer cruelty of this current tory government - stopping their benefits which is often their only means of income & independence.
Why didn't they ask him about the housing crisis why he isn't building social housing for British people, the whole interview was terrible, and Judy fired 5 questions all at once at him, and then don't let him finish answering their questions properly, terrible...
She’s asked the same question regarding poverty and damp in social housing, he avoided all those topics and she cut him off to address the question again. He spoke about what he did 4 years ago with furlough and we want to know what’s happening now.

Judy did an amazing job & kept her foot on his neck politely & rightfully. Obviously u are not one of us that are struggling buying eggs/bread & beans. Well done judy.
He avoided the main hard hitting questions and just wanted to talk about furlough like that isn’t one of the main reasons the country is in a shambles. Having a pm that cant connect or emphasise with the common person will never work because what affects the people doesn’t affect him on anyone he’s around.

Pensioners paid National Insurance all through their working lives - unelected Sunak who is not the only person in the UK "who works hard" fails to recognise that.
And we were promised a decent pension at age 60!
Then governments bumped the age up again and again. Pretty soon we will be popping our clogs in the workplace.

What about disability benefits?
He has taken away peoples right to healthcare more and more people are " disabled " but in reality most of them have untreated health problems .He has taken away peoples healthcare and then punished them for being in bad health .The cheapest solution is to give people proper healthcare that would save money as far less people would need disabilty benifits and more people would be fit to work
Rishi’s style is too defensive especially when he stubbornly has to complete his sentence and doesn’t like being interrupted. It’s also no wonder people find him robotic and mechanical.

I am on benefits been on them since i can remember i am 32 years old(33 tomorrow) i would love to work but due to my mental health and physical health i cannot work i dont know what ill do if i lose my benefits. My best friend has been in and out of mental health hospitals for years and they/he has stopped his benefits

I think part of the problem is that people in general expect government to solve all of the nations problems. We will need greater collective intelligence, collaboration and more advanced AI and a willingness to live peacefully together to lift us all out of our relative poverty, whether it be material intellectual or spiritual etc

The Prime Minister should be setting out the economic agenda and conditions so that there is no absolute poverty.
Relative poverty will always exist and encouraging participation in the workforce is the best way to escape poverty.
Exactly! What is one person supposed to do? Wave a magic wand and make half of society less narcissistic and stop being a corrupt herd of pity-party, bully, victims. I was bullied in school for 10 years, and then those same girls grew up, went to university and chant for terrorism on campus claiming that they are victims of the system. Frankly, the majority of society are the problem with their lack of moral compass and independent thought. The sane members of society are just collateral damage, and the government will always be blamed no matter what. Herd society has been, is, and always will be the problem.
