I totally agree with Sarah. I had tumors in my one armpit. Had a lot of tests and what the dr.'s found was a cancerous mole on my lower back. I had melanoma which was a shock.. I never sunbathers, i avoided the sun at all cost. I am now taking my second round of chemo. Listen to Sarah, she definitely knows what she is talking about.

As women we also need to demand to know what chemicals etc are in our cosmetics and skincare products. There is no regulation and with skin cancer rates growing I think this is vitally important!

Hi Mary. There is regulation which is why certain pigments and ingredients are now removed from products. Ingredients are listed on packaging. Very important is for all of us to use SPF daily (along with hats/sleeves etc.) for prevention.

Love her message, but wow, easier said than done. I've had a lump in my neck for 4 weeks which has been steadily growing, and for 4 weeks have been unable to get a doctor's appointment. It's scary, because yes it might be nothing, but it also could be something. And that's what is so scary, and frustrating.

Professor Long and Professor Scolyer (Australians of the Year 2024) from the Melanoma Institute Australia have developed an adjunctive immunotherapy regime that has increased survival rates for stage 3 to 80%. Unbelievable. They just completed phase 3 clinical trials and have applied for this to be standard treatment. Interview them - an amazing duo. Professor Scolyer has a brain tumour and is patient 1 in clinical trial for treatment of glioma - it’s an inspiring story and based on their research in melanoma research.

I understand Sarah and Charles having cancer due to their age and circumstances. But the Kate situation is just weird. Sarah and Charles are advocating for their cancers and raising awareness but Kate has just disappeared. Either her condition is so serious (which as the public they should let people know) or it’s not cancer and it’s something else. Her situation is just bizarre from the photoshopped pictures to the kids missing and her mom Carole missing. Like it’s all so weird. If it was cancer why can’t we have at least one photo of Carole or Pippa. We don’t even know where they are but previously they were everywhere online. Also her kids we don’t even know if they are in school.

The most frightening aspect of melanoma compared to other skin cancers is its propensity to metastasize. Even the most ordinary spot (freckle) could be malignant. People with darker completions are not immune, in fact it may actually be more likely to be overlooked.

It is a shame that Sarah never took care of her face and neck. She has way too many wrinkles for a woman her age that have nothing to do with skin cancer. Just washing your face with cool water, never using a washcloth or scrubbie, and being generous with moisturizer, and very light with the makeup, is so very easy and very important.

If Charles has any sense he must get Andrew to apologise publicly then get back to working locally. Giving Sarah a title right along would be very wise. She's very able and intelligent. Much better than Sophie and Edward. The reason for ny support for the Yotks is even the girls are far, far better than Catherine! I say Charles has nasty stuff to be ashamed of. Noone is clean or innocent; they just have titles.!! Not forgiving Andrew and Harry is ridiculous; far as I'm concerned. If Charles wants a bit of a positive reign, let's see him embrace Meghan; because Harry only spoke and exposed very little harmless stuff; only as a reaction!! Who attacked and put their own son's life in danger, but the father? Charles should know he blasphemed the holy sacrament of coronation by demanding a crown for his mistress with whom he carried on and on even when she was married. Is he any sweeter than Andrew? NO. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♀️🙄🙄
