"Ananas" is beautifully orchestrated and there is no need to apologize for your pronunciation.In the Francophone world there are so many regional differences. Even in Canada our Maritime singers have an impressive Acadian accent.I would love to do a backup singer duet with you featuring a Québécoise accent. I have heard so many people say they can speak it fluently or sing French songs but you have the basic intonation which can become a reality. Just having been raised to hear the patois means that you have a natural advantage.It would be great to release a Christmas vinyl in French which might surprise your colleagues from the jazz festivals in Montreux. As a young girl I was raised in a part of Quebec City known for excellent Parisian style linguistics. Don't give up your dream because I have taught students with far less potential. Blessings.

I remember when "Hourglass" came out in 1997 and I saw the title of this song. I thought it was pronounced A-na-nas like "Bananas".
