There's something quite poignant about this.... an 11 and a half minute retrospective by probably the greatest heavy rock trio ever. The build in Spirit of Radio is spine-tingling. Three majestic maestros. Thank you Rush!

They are great but they use additional backing tracks with additional layers which were managed by Geddy's pedalboard. So it was not pure 3-men performance
When I was 14 I had Rush posters all over my room. The walls, the ceiling, my closet. everywhere full of Rush posters, I always wondered who took those photos. How did they get so CLOSE!? Well, I'm 50 now and a professional concert photographer who shoots 75-100 bands a year live. I got to stand 10 feet away from RUSH a couple years ago and photograph them live and in person for the first time. Even though I photograph popular bands all the time, I nearly had a heart attack from sheer joy shooting RUSH. Now I have my own Rush posters hanging in my office that I shot personally. Full Circle. Love you and thank you Neil, Alex and Geddy! RIP Neil.
There were a lot of great bands in the 70's! I've seen so many in my youth. Zeppelin, Yes, Emerson, Lake and Palmer, Pink Floyd, Boston, the Eagles, Skynyrd... I could go on and on but there was one band that I saw live for the first time in 1977 that just blew me away and that was these guys. It was remarkable and I'll never forget it! They were just so different and LOUD! I couldn't hear right for a few days after that concert! These guys and so many other original "arena" bands were the soundtrack to my youth and what a great time it was. I miss those days and think about them all the time. I had friends back then and we'd go to whatever concerts we could afford to go to. I'd work 60 hrs a week just so I could afford tickets to a Stones concert or to take my girlfriend to go see KISS! The last concert I went to was to see the Zack Brown Band in Charlotte, NC and those guys played for two and a half hours in 98 degree blistering heat and humidity and they didn't miss a beat the whole time! The younger generation just doesn't understand and I feel bad for them because they'll never get to experience what we did growing up.
@@walterlegere1403 I tend to disagree. If you bring them up well educated they will appreciate. My gen Z daughter collects CD's and doesn't download from Spotify. She has CDs by Yes, Rush, Maiden, Genesis, Floyd, Zeppelin, Camel, Wishbone Ash, Van Der Graaf etc.... But she also like more current modern music of her generation (including rap) Ok!!! Overall she has a very inclusive musical taste and is very tolerant of others tastes too!
The best part about RUSH is it was always ALL about making great music, not overdone stage sets or dance routines, just the music. They genuinely cared about each other, too. After Neil was devastated by the deaths of his wife and daughter in separate instances, they put the band aside for two years and made sure he had time to recover. They tracked his progress the whole time then eagerly welcomed him back. Pretty down to earth people.
You get friends by being a friend….is this when Alex and his son got hammered at their country club New Years Eve party, took over the band that was hired, and got arrested? I live in SW FL and worked at a CC in Naples when that happened and it might be the best story every for those old, stodgy, look down their nose people ever
Neil wasnt a drummer, he was a true percussionist and will never, ever be duplicated. Truly one of my hero growing up. I hope there is a drum kit in heaven where he can play for the Angel's. RIP Neil, you are missed........

Many years ago I was Neil and Jackie's Housekeeper. They were the most down to earth people. Selena was so young and beautiful. She always wanted me to climb her sprial staircase to her Beautiful Bedroom and play with her dolls. Neil had very huge game room over the garage by the big bay windows he have his platform and drumset...on days the house would vibrate. All the Gold , Platinum records l cleaned so carefully in his office the Emmy award (which is extremely heavy. Wonder Time. We are Honoring Neil in Port Dalhousie my home town and his with a gorgeous statue. I will be there for sure. Rip Neil ,Jackie and Selena. ❤❤❤Your in my thoughts and prayers 🙏 forever. ❤❤❤
You were blessed to have known them that way. All the rest of us have only been able to know them and love them ( as RUSH ) from afar. God bless and thanks for sharing 😇
There was never, nor will there ever be a band who remained friends for 40 years, were as musically talented individually and as a group as the three friends who entertained us for over 40 years! Thank you all for the memories!
Went to see them once. They were so ripped they botched half their songs and didn't even play Working Man. One of my favorite bands and without a doubt, worst concert I have ever been to.
@@gutstompenrocker Wow I did not think that they partaked. That was a bummer, I went and saw Van Halen for the second time in Los Angles at a US concert, they were horrible, Aerosmith swept the floor with them, it wan't even close.

I feel the exact same way Martijn. But, it makes me feel better to know others feel the same way. Thank you RUSH for the greatest, most memorable music!!!
Three intensely intelligent musicians ran into each other and created this masterpiece band. One in a zillion. Saw them many times, often by myself just to soak it all in. I LOVE you Rush. Miss you so very much Neil.
Like a few bands so much talent and gifted everyone and you end up with a power house of music lyrics that are priceless like zeppelin black sabbath just to name a few
Me too !!! I went to a few shows alone and in the 1990's drove to Sacramento from Sonoma County without a ticket hoping to find one in the parking lot. Some dude comes up to me and asks if I want to buy a ticket. Then a black guy with dreads asked me the same question and I bought a ticket from him for $20 bucks, and the white guy asked me, "You're gonna buy a ticket from that guy ?" It was TENTH ROW in the center !!!! I'm the guy who made the Geddy Lee for President '92 bumper stickers that I sold at the Mountain View show and it covered the cost for my ticket, and all my buddies who came with me.
@michaelb.42112 You're full of bs jk lol. Thanks for sharing that story. I saw them in Calgary 1986. One of the best concerts I've been to their sound system was topnotch and probbley analog that's better than digital tc 🙂
Brings tears to these now 51 yr old eyes to know that these 3 will never be together like this again. Here is to Neil and all those great songs and most of all, memories we will have with us for all time to remember him, and this great band that was never 1 person any bigger than the band itself. A true brotherhood for the ages. Thank you guys, I have been a fan since I was just a five year old when my older brother brought home the first RUSH album back in 1974. It has been a wonderful journey..
I too am 51. Found Rush in 82 on Signals. And like a fire it burned so bright....47 live shows and I saw my 47th in my 46th year of life. Was hoping to get one for every year for a long time.. Alas....2020...and no hope of a "one last time". Got my tickets for Neil's Lifetime Celebration in Canada and my guess is they won't let me in to go to it in October.
I'm now 58 and haven'd these guys in a few yrs. I've got goose bumps!! What a treasure they were and in many ways, still are. I was in 6th grade when I learned of them. Music can bend time better than Star Trek.
I was privileged to see them multiple times beginning in 1979. Culminated in 2012 when my son at age 19 accompanied me to his first Rush concert. Timeless.
I took my mom to see Rush back in the day. She has two Masters. One in Music. She was a great concert pianist among other accomplishments. Mom and me to see Rush! We had a blast.
We have had 45 great years of this band and fortunately, we can listen to their albums and watch their videos until we die. Imagine those few in the18th/19th century who were lucky enough to see/hear Mozart or Beethoven perform. No radios, videos, cd's back then. The whole world gets to hear and watch Rush forever in HD stereo.
All the Worlds a Stage was one of my first albums. I've been enjoying Rush since the mid-70s when I realized what music was...they invented "Progressive" rock. Unbelievable talent, lyrics, etc. RIP Neil.
Every once in a while, I come back to this. My wife is like, "why do you play this SO LOUD??" I'm like, how do you listen to this less than volume 9!! To All of my brethren RUSH & "The Professor" Fans, This will live on forever!! it truly is "THE GREATEST INTRO EVER"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 2024, AND I STILL CALL THEM THE GREATEST BAND THAT EVER ROCKED THIS EARTH!!!! :Edit: That astounding Kit!! and it wasn't for show, he knew where and how, EVERYTHING was!!

WOW, that was the same tour I was introduced to Rush…1974?? 75?? I actually have a poster from that show…ticket prices were like $5.50 per! Kiss headlined…never again was that the case!
I respected them above all else. However I am kinda happy they were not truly main stream popular...made me feel like I knew something that not many others did.
Well they did make the rock and roll hall of fame. In the music industry they are very well respected. As for the general public I like the face that they never got to mega star fame levels.
I am always intrigued when somebody says the band or an individual does not get the credit they deserve .... by whose standards does one make this observation? What more does one expect them to have? Not to mention the arrogance of assuming to know what people deserve..
A month later and it's still tough to swallow. I think the reason it stings so much is it was totally unexpected as no one outside of his family and close friends knew he was sick. I understand his reasons for keeping it quiet and can't blame him.
Wow .. was that something else! Only saw Rush once (Glasgow, Apollo Theatre 1980, "Permanent Waves" tour) aged 16, and am so grateful to my parents for letting me go! Loved them then, love them now! Geddy, Alex and Neil, three absolutely sublime musicians. Miss you all, guys!

Beautiful, this man was a true artist. A thinking man that wrote deep lyrics that still resonate with me at 52 years old. But that was not enough he became one of the most complex drummers to ever exist. Neil you touched my soul brother. Thank you for the art. So saddened to hear of your passing. You were a beautiful human
I am the same age as you, 52. Neil was such an inspiration to me and all the years growing up with Rush as my all time favorite rock band. He may be gone but my memories will forever last in my soul and mind forever.
My very FIRST concert ever!...RUSH 2112 in Albuquerque New Mexico 1976...8th grade...Never forget that day...Thanks for the memories and the 11+ jammin' minutes of an amazing TRIO!
Now that is a bit much, he may have been the best behind a drum kit, but he didnt cure cancer. If being an entertainer is your idea of benefiting the human race then ok i guess.
This has to be the most powerful performance of these tunes I’ve heard in all my 45 years of listening to Rush. Professionalism, integrity and outstanding musicianship all wrapped up in a 3 piece
In 1974 RUSH played at our high school and I was hooked. This group gave us so much great music and so many albums and for that I'm thankful! 2112 FOREVER R.I.P Neal Peart.
Same here! I was about 16 when I studied Rush music. I learnt playing drums listening to Kiss and Rush :) This is so cool! Even more, THE Canadian Rockband recording their 40th anniversary tour in Frankfurt Festhalle, Germany. Makes me happy. This venue was my second living room for many years. So much legacy, for the location and the band as well. Perfect fit. I'll never forget the sadness I felt when I learned that Neil passed away. It was like the day when Freddie passed away. What a loss....
I went to see them at Nassau Coliseum back in the late 70' early 80's ( friends & I felt like we were old men) we were listing to them from their 1st album & we are all in our 60's now.
@@34dukeboy you know how people have to upload videos to TH-cam? Well Rush does. Many of their videos only have a couple thousand views when they should have millions. I'd followed Rush since the early 80s and they grew to be my favorite band. So much complexity in both music and lyrics. Got every one of their albums plus concert videos. FINALLY got to see them live on their Clockwork Angels tour and it was the best concert I have ever seen (probably forever). They were on stage for 3 hours. Will never forget it. Fantastic talent and Neil Peart is the best drummer all time, in my opinion. RIP Neil and thank you as well Alex and Teddy!
I remember drawing the RUSH logo and the Rush star on my books in High School (class of 79) took my daughter to see them in Hershey about 10 years ago telling her that Hannah Montana wasn't going to be her first concert. And she was going to see the best drummer in the world. She loves Rush to this day. RIP Neil.
Pure MUSICIANS to the CORE! 110%!! I read some interview with Geddy & Alex that Niel played concerts with blistered, cut hands plus having an inflammation on his feet playing on "bloody stumps and barely able to walk!" We will never see anyone like him again!
Hey Scott like everyone since I heard the news I've been listening to their music and reading all the comments from the short and sweet to the long and winded but I think YOU nailed it My Friend,.
don´t know how often I´ve watched this and every time I do, I´m still: a) blown away, b) sad, that my drummer "colleague" is gone, c) sad, that this kind of hand-made art and music seems to be gone, too, d) very happy, that people like Bill Bullerwell load up these kind of gems. Cheers Bill!
Very few bands can get away with 5+ minute intro before starting the set. This is one of the few. Also, not every band is as visibly excited to still be touring after so many years. Neal, you are sorely missed. A hole is in all our hearts…and drum sets. 😘
One of the best thing about Rush to me is that they never stopped evolving or trying new things. They never restricted themselves to one sound or style. The words "Rush doesn't do that" weren't in their vocabulary. They dabbled in metal, prog, reggae, new wave, synth rock, and anything else that tickled their fancy, and somehow made all of it sound like Rush. Not everyone liked everything they did, but few other bands had their curiosity or versatility, and because of that, their catalog is one of the most diverse in recorded music.
that is a sign of a truly great band look at zz top same three guys for 47 years they do what they want when they want and don't give two s%$#s about radio play same with rush.
What I love about Rush is that they did things their way regardless of pressures from record labels, fans, agents or anyone else. They said fuck it all, we're in this for ourselves; if you like what we do, that's great, but if not, we don't really care because we genuinely love it and that's all that matters. That is the way to live your life.
That's kind of one of Rush's tricks when playing live. They like to disguise what song is coming up next. If you're familiar with Rush's music you heard a bunch of different songs there before they launched into Spirit of the Radio. What I love most about this video is how clear the sound is. You can really hear every instrument and especially the drums. Well done!!
So amazing to pack in great songs as an intro! ❤ Nailed it 👌 Rush is amazing and to perform so long is much harder to beileve! I'm sure they didnt need the money, but just to keep entertaining us was a gift! 😊
I’ve been a Rush fan for 40 years, the more I listen the more I appreciate Alex Lifeson, very underrated, and I don’t think you will see musicianship in 3 artists as you will in Rush anytime soon...
If you listen to his evolution of playing and style over the years, it's incredible. I dont think I've heard any guitarist evolve like him. His guitar playing across the board is amazing but on PRESTO its mind boggling. Cheers!
3 Musicians sounding like 7 and No auto tune. It doesnt get any better boys and girls.... Its a shame that Arthritis took one of them down. A drummer's worst nightmare. Arthritis in the hands elbows and shoulder.... Would love to see them once more.
My best friend tried to take me to two different shows the last time, and I was too depressed. Will always love him for trying, he knew it would have helped me. These guys are always playing in my head, only music that made sense.
All of these guys put their heart and soul into their music for over 40 years, I can't ask for more than that. Genuinely love these guys more than most of my family members.
Actually, arthritis took down Alex too; if Neil hadn't called it, Alex likely would have. BTW, I've had tickets for every tour since Hemispheres, and they were always awesome live. The only band I know that can pull off the album sound in concert. Just wish Aimee Mann had toured with them on the Hold Your Fire tour (Time Stand Still) ... At least the rabbits danced! :-)
This was a great concert -- July 2004 / White River Amphitheater; remember it like it was yesterday and hard to believe almost 20 years ago. Greatest band ever. RIP Neil Peart.
They still sound great live, unlike most aging rock bands, what a talented trio Rush is, and so professional, they don't sound like they have lost anything to me, maybe Geddy 's vocals aren't as strong but that is probably the case with any lead vocalist from the 70's - 90's that is still singing today! Rush STILL ROCKS!
Well, they gave us over 40 years. Alex was still everything he had ever been on guitar, maybe his hands weren't as fast, but he was craftier with effects. Geddy was still one of the very best rock bassists of all time, though he'd lost a bit of his vocal range. Neil's hands, wrists and shoulders just wouldn't let him go on. Without Neil, it wouldn't be Rush. I was privileged enough to be able to see them 5 times. For a band with 24 gold albums and 14 platinum albums, I felt they were in some ways deliberately written out of the history of rock, because they were so polarizing. But they always played their music, without irony, and with utter technical perfection, for the enjoyment of their fans, and even at the end, they could fill any arena on the planet.
Yeah, as great as a lead guitarist Alex is (the solo on Tom Sawyer is such a classic, and so out there compared to what most rockguitar solos would be like back then), he always struck me as such an underrated comp guitarist with those captivating chord structures.
Hell....Geddy Lee is like 64 yo.....no he can't scream like he did when was 30yo...but damn..they are still working it....they sound great.!!!! Have some respect dammit..!!!!
Harry Prater I wasn't trying to disrespect Geddy, I do realize that NO lead singer from decades past has as strong of a voice as they used to, that includes Steve Perry from Journey and Lou Gramm from Foreigner! I was just saying that as a band they sound as great as they always did, even live, unlike alot of older bands that are still playing!
0:00/1:04 - "Finding My Way" - (Rush) 1:05/2:39 - "Anthem" - (Fly By Night) 2:40/3:26 - "Bastille Day" - (Caress of Steel) 3:27/4:37 - "A Passage to Bangkok" - (2112) 4:38/5:49 - "Cygnus X-1 (Book I - The Voyage)" - (A Farewell To Kings) 5:50/6:33 - "Cygnus X-1 (Book II: Hemispheres)" - (Hemispheres) 6:34/11:36 - "The Spirit of Radio" - (Permanent Waves) Personal recommendation: Moving Pictures The goddamn best band in the world ever :D
The 'greatest'...really? It is great, but the 'greatest'? Have you (or I or others for that matter) heard all possible 'contenders'? I suspect not, and that is not me being derogatory but rather acknowledging that it is probably an impossibility to have heard ALL alternatives great pieces.. It is also in my view that the 'greatest' is quite a subjective determination so I have come to realize that because I have not heard all possible alternatives AND because my tastes are somewhat eclectic then I am unable to state that one piece in particular is the greatest. All I could reasonably state perhaps is that one particular piece is the greatest that I have heard. For my part there are plenty of great pieces, ranging from some of Neil Young and Crazy Horse's masterful performances (Cortez, Down by the River, Cinammon Girl etc) to Yes (with Starship/Yours is No Disgrace/Wurm) to Humble Pie's I don't need no Doctor and then on to Richard Thompson's nearly 14-min Calvary Cross (my personal favourite). I just enjoy as many of these musical gems as I can before my time is up.
Remember: This was only *3* dudes! Each one a master musician in his own right. We will never see the likes of this again except in recording. I'm not glad that I'm not a kid anymore, but I'll trade that for being old enough to have seen Rush live three times.

Perhaps technically sound isn't the right category to put them true. But they are three musicians that can singergize extremely well and create a very full and lively music. Or did at least. And they are very good in their art.
This clip has put an ear to ear smile on my face. Man, I have loved this band since '76 when a friend gave me "All The World's A Stage" as a gift. Rush on!
All the World's a Stage blew my mind... I was 13 at the time it came out and I was definitely not into harder rock at that age... until I listened to that album.
Rush is the "cool uncle" that everyone has and cant wait to hang out with as a kid. He plays the best music, tosses ya a beer, maybe even a smoke and says "dont tell your mom lol". RIP Neil
Great analogy! I tried to be that uncle with my nephew.., I think I succeeded. We're still close, but he has his own family now, and we don't get to hang out like we used to.
But they still seem quite celebrated. Even long after their streak of great albums in the 70s and 80s. It could be that anything of substance is shadowed by modern pop vacuousness.

Now we have The Warning...
I wholeheartedly concur, sir! heard them on bus to college on CD 30 years ago ,locked in since then!
RIP Neil. You wrote the soundtrack to my life. I miss you already.

Thats canadians for ya, but joking aside they truly seem like great people. RIP Neil Peart
If we judge the greatest bands of all time based on the quality and integrity of the members and not their music Rush would be number 1 through 5
And please don't misunderstand as far as RUSH's music goes to me they are the greatest band of all time
You should read Neil's book about that time.

Er Geddy.
I'm Canadian. To explain what Rush means to us, they are probably like if George Washington, General Patton, and Rocky Balboa had a band.
I think a high % of Americans wud be clueless on rocky Balboa. Yet I get ur point.
@POINTTWOFIVEMOA Please stop yelling.
And then you get to add Neil Peart!
Yah except Rocky, Washington and Patton NEVER would have helped and endorsed "TRUDEAU FOR PRIME MINISTER"! What the fuck was Rush thinking?!
I'm Canadian as well, but I think it's also like the Moon landing.
RIP Neil.
Well done sir! Got to start em off right.
Parenting done right!!!
You did her a huge favor.
Very very good father ❤️

Rush: When love of music, friendship, and integrity overrides big egos, drugs, and sexual conquesting to give you decades of great music.
@@srpdesigns appreciate that SRP, especially from a designer!
Well, yeah, but drugs and sexual conquesting aren't bad, c'mon. :)
Excellent call, so true.
don´t know how often I´ve watched this and every time I do, I´m still: a) blown away, b) sad, that my drummer "colleague" is gone, c) sad, that this kind of hand-made art and music seems to be gone, too, d) very happy, that people like Bill Bullerwell load up these kind of gems. Cheers Bill!
Very few bands can get away with 5+ minute intro before starting the set. This is one of the few.
Also, not every band is as visibly excited to still be touring after so many years.
Neal, you are sorely missed. A hole is in all our hearts…and drum sets. 😘
This intro is a concert unto itself.

It's one of the reasons I love Rush. If I want to hear something in nearly any rock-related style there's at least one Rush song that covers it.
that is a sign of a truly great band look at zz top same three guys for 47 years they do what they want when they want and don't give two s%$#s about radio play same with rush.
Fuck yes! RUSH!!!
Unlike those record company fan hating whores metalijoke or aka selloutica.
Cheers!
Yah, all of them seem to get better with age. Probably cause they didn't do any drugs to destroy their brains.
You wernt a fan in the 70s ? Why Not
More than likely never will .
I don't think we'll see it ever again. I am lucky enough to have seen them live 3 times and they are just supremely talented musicians.
They just gave more in 11:36 than most bands give in a full show.
Truth.
Or there whole career !
lol what a bunch of bullshit. It's not _THAT_ good.
Almost anyway, I could listen to the 7 minute intro all night.
DID!
There's a memorial in a Toronto park that calls Rush "the world's smallest orchestra".
Biff Dinkley Which park? I'll be up there in the next few months, hopefully. Add it to the Rush Fans Guide to Toronto!
This was a great concert -- July 2004 / White River Amphitheater; remember it like it was yesterday and hard to believe almost 20 years ago. Greatest band ever. RIP Neil Peart.
Rest in peace Neil you was and will always be a amazing man sitting behind the drums
So sad. Time don't stand still!
0:00/1:04 - "Finding My Way" - (Rush)
1:05/2:39 - "Anthem" - (Fly By Night)
2:40/3:26 - "Bastille Day" - (Caress of Steel)
3:27/4:37 - "A Passage to Bangkok" - (2112)
4:38/5:49 - "Cygnus X-1 (Book I - The Voyage)" - (A Farewell To Kings)
5:50/6:33 - "Cygnus X-1 (Book II: Hemispheres)" - (Hemispheres)
6:34/11:36 - "The Spirit of Radio" - (Permanent Waves)

The goddamn best band in the world ever :D
You're the true hero here in the comments. :)
fuck yaaaaa!!!!
was this rush 30?
I love the way they took an excerpt from the first six albums!
Pin it, please!
Canada day ain't a day without the best band to come from Canada!
This is the greatest fucking eleven and a half minutes of live rock n roll ever!!!!!!!!!! RIP Professor Peart.
agree!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes!!!!!
Listen & learn !!....timeless magic !
@@tonywethereld7429 One thing you can always count on is there is an asshole in every crowd
Remember: This was only *3* dudes! Each one a master musician in his own right. We will never see the likes of this again except in recording. I'm not glad that I'm not a kid anymore, but I'll trade that for being old enough to have seen Rush live three times.
Just to shake Geddy Lee or Alex Lifeson's hand.
I hear you Bro.....

I laugh, I cry, I get the goosebumps, I have fun, I think about life and feel so much joy whenever I watch or listen to these incredible artists.
Thank you Rush!
They're The BEST! #RUSH
Amen‼
Musical genus's is what they are. Just plain incredible from the get go.
I'll forever cherish the many times I got to see RUSH in person.
Geddy Lee, the only musician on the planet that can sing, play keyboards, bass AND do laundry all at the same freakin TIME!!!!!
Not to mention, sing while he is doing all that, too!
layzer80 Completely amazing. I do not know how 3 people could all be so unbelievably gifted and somehow found each other. I sometimes wonder if they are even human. It's like watching that one athlete that you know you will never see the likes of again in your lifetime.
It’s their level of intelligence and musical skills! All 3 work like a well oiled machine, unfknblvabl lol.
Don’t be impressed, it’s just the bass, any idiot can do that.
@@SGMKnight I cant play the base like him,..but...Flea from RHCP WOULD.

I heard that there is a Band called RUSH, this piece is the first piece I listened to with interest and its freakin' AWESOME !!!!
3 of the most technically sound musicians to EVER walk this planet.
Perhaps technically sound isn't the right category to put them true. But they are three musicians that can singergize extremely well and create a very full and lively music. Or did at least. And they are very good in their art.
monokhem You're not a musician, are you.
Which Rock n Roll Hall of Fame bands did you play for?
So you're not there.
There's certainly at least _one_ of the most technically sound musicians to ever walk this planet.
Three masters each in their own field. Put together is the unmistakable sound of rush. Miss you Neil rip
Q?: How many 🥁 drum pieces do you need? A: all of them
....and then make them rotate....
Correct answer would be: "Yes."
Imagine the work his drum tech has to do before each concert!
Probably requires 5 pages of schematics and assembly instructions.
LOL
This never gets old! Chills, every time!
Stunning. Just stunning. The degree of musical difficulty is off the charts. Can you imagine what their sheet music must look like?
William. RUSH is simply the SHIT!! no band sounds like them, that's why I fell in love with there music when I was in the 8th grade
This clip has put an ear to ear smile on my face. Man, I have loved this band since '76 when a friend gave me "All The World's A Stage" as a gift. Rush on!
That's a great friend.
That's the same story as me. Got All The World's A Stage for Christmas and that was it. 28 concerts later and I'm still loving them.
RIP Neil
You damn skippy.

flawless transitions through many of their iconic song melodies....brilliant and amazing...I so miss them preforming live...
Rush is the most underrated band with the most complex and great music. I have seen them 17 times and every show was spectacular!

Wow 7x for me 🤘
But they still seem quite celebrated. Even long after their streak of great albums in the 70s and 80s. It could be that anything of substance is shadowed by modern pop vacuousness.
