Just bough a rog ally first gen that were with a nice discount… I downloaded a bunch of videos from several creators to get some info about it, I really liked your video as I had to go on to the TH-cam app search for your video to subscribe the channel. Keep the good work, God bless! Ps: If everything had transparent covers I had not destroyed so many stuff growing up lol
I really appreciate that and I'm glad I could help. Thank you. And yes I love transparent tech hahaha I love that the ROG Ally cover also cools the system better
Thanks for showing what spacers you used. I snapped mine together and noticed my rear buttons didn’t really work. Didn’t really feel like taking it apart more than once if someone had what they used online. 4mm spacers make the rear buttons feel much better than the stock backplate. I think me and others didn’t really buy this for the cooling. I’m sure it might help maybe a slight bit? We bought it to make our rog allys look cool and like our old gameboys lol
Anything to help mitigate frying the SD card slot 🔥😆 thanks, I try to include as much useful info in my videos without getting overly detailed. I'm glad it helped 👌🦇 P.S. it is super cool looking 👀
Man this is cool. Also the Batpixel name tag is cool to have on it. That strap is amazing. I expects I would be bringing a snack in it as when gaming, time goes by quick and no time to cook. lol Great video and you are fast with that Phillips screwdriver. Haha 😂
I don't have the jsaux backplate to compare them. If there are no comparison videos, I'd say just watch a few videos for each and see which one you'd prefer

4:25 You are supposed to remove that black plastic cover on the cooler so the thermal pad can touch the cooler
No, that is not what you're supposed to do. This guide is accurate for this product
@@batpixel no he’s right. It needs to be removed for best results.

jsaux backplate and handheld diy backplate, which one is better and has better heat dissipation?
I don't have the jsaux backplate to compare them. If there are no comparison videos, I'd say just watch a few videos for each and see which one you'd prefer
Will the stand be in the way of the dock?
Yeah you'd have to keep the stand closed and possibly remove the watch strap
