If yours don't come with the CrossMix SanDisk card and you're interested in the additional features, you can still get one separately on MechDIY. If yours comes with a black SD card, then do a backup of your files somewhere, as those cards tend to break easily. If yours comes with one of those blue 'Kioxia' cards, then you're good to go on the stock software, as those cards are reliable and originate from Toshiba 👌
I really like those, I’ll paraphrase “sharing over the air” option. That’s very kick ass! When I get a handheld (I know, adulting gets in the way of the fun) I’ll have to see about this OS Another Great video, Pal!
Thanks 🦇 Your "when I get a handheld" scenario has now become legendary lol very intrigued to see what happens on this quest. More and more handhelds are getting into the over the air stuff
How do I know what my version of system is? Like I have the device and it looks the same but then you went to the apps and I didn't have all the apps that you had there. But it look the same
Did you buy yours stock? Mine came with a specific 'CrossMix SD card' from MechDIY, so if you don't have that card then you won't have the customized software
Thank you so much for this. Ordered just the card via your affiliate link just now with your discount. How easy is it to add my own games to this? If I really need to!
Dumb question: I love the old Nintendo games Puzzle Quest and Puzzle Quest 2...would it be hard for me to add those games to the Trimui w/ the stock OS?
A different company actually sent me the stock OS version of this handheld, which I was planning to review first, but it was lost in the mail 😅 so I never got to tinker with the original, unfortunately. However, these do use SD cards. I can't speak specifically about what you're asking on TH-cam, but when it comes to games on later gen consoles above PS1, this handheld can be hit or miss when it comes to performance
TrimUI Smart Pro with the CrossMix card addition comes with way better games compared to the RGXX series. But it's not hard to customize you're own. I'd reccomend the CrossMix card if you don't want to tinker with it. I don't think they release game lists
@@batpixel yes, already orderd it with the crossmix sd and intend to buy another one next month from aliexpress for 56$ without an sd... now i just have to wait for it to arrive 20-30 working days its a lot :(
I don't believe it's from a plug & play, as MECHdiy sells these separately or with the TrimUI Smart Pro. I've never seen what you're talking about though. If you're right, that would be an awesome plug & play lol
@eddiedevereoxford4995 yeah every system will fit, but there will be black bars like you said. You can also use bezels to fill in the black areas and the community creates them too
@@batpixel yeah man, i got my TSP yesterday with a preloaded SD for £4 extra - just to use whilst i build the Sandisk SD with Crossmix etc. your option + DISCOUNT CODE is good for people that cant/dont want to do it themselves :)

Just ordered one last night. Can't wait to try it out. Paid $96 for the 256gb on banggood
does it come with the crossmix OS?

Mine is coming in today hopefully 🙏

Cool update. Thanks for keeping it real man
Always 🎮🦇
Just picked this up yesterday. What shader are you using for your psx tony hawk game? it looks great~~~
Ordered a TSP today and used your promo code so hopefully there's something in it for you :)
Thank you 🙌🦇 hope you enjoy ir 😄
@@batpixel Thanks, I guess I'll find out in a couple of weeks :)

Thanks! 🎮🦇 I am not allowed to discuss that on TH-cam. But I think you'll be very happy with your purchase 😆👌

Hi can you had bezels , if so do you just drop them in the overlays folder thanks
they are the same sticks the ps vita had!! theyre not that bad...
Yeah I've never been a fan of those tiny sticks
Does PSP Silent Hill and GTA games play smoothly on Crossmix?
Please quick question. If I'm to order a new unit on AliExpress today, will it already come with Crossmix installed or is there another step to take?
No, you need to buy the CrossMix OS card too. Check my links above
is there a way to see a list with the games on that sd ? Trimui pro or RG40XX H ?
TrimUI Smart Pro with the CrossMix card addition comes with way better games compared to the RGXX series. But it's not hard to customize you're own. I'd reccomend the CrossMix card if you don't want to tinker with it. I don't think they release game lists

Are the games repeated?
Is the cross mix sd card from the link plug and play?

@@batpixel I reached out and mechdiy said it’s plug and play 👍🏽
Thanks for the update 👌😄 they are good with their customers
it's not possible to buy a microsd card myself and download the crossmix os software?
Yes you can. It may not have everything the same as this preloaded one. But yes for sure
Yes, after you do it. You'll realize It's not that difficult, but work is required.
If you're an audiophile maybe don't buy a £50 retro games console.
There are cheaper retro handhelds with way better sound quality. There's a very obvious difference that's worth mentioning
@@batpixel okay sorry buddy
You made a very good point lol It's always good to consider everything it offers at this price point. People are still loving this handheld 👌
I used other handhelds with better audio quality, but it felt so uncanny that I had to go back to the trimui smart pro
The Trimui is 100 euros.
where do i put my nes/snes games? im having trouble navigating the rom folders
It could be that Nintendo is Famicom and Super Nintendo is Super Famicom in Japan. So look for FC and SFC folders
that thumbnail tho
It is getting higher clicks than usual. I'll have to experiment with this kind of thumbnail 👌🦇
Awww, it doesn't have a Sinclair Spectrum emulator :(
@@batpixel Is it maybe under "ZX"?
@@batpixel ha! I spotted it in your video - It IS under ZX :)
Yes you're right!! I just turned it on to have a look and that is totally it! Hahaha sweet 😆 this is why I love the retro handheld community on TH-cam
@@batpixel I developed a couple of games for the Spectrum back in the 80’s lol - hence my affinity for that platform :)
That's really cool! What were the games about?
Does this display GBA games better than the powkiddy v10?
The ratio for the V10 has been a favorite for GBA
@@batpixel As the Trimui has a bigger screen, won't that GBA ratio fit inside it (with some black bars)?
@eddiedevereoxford4995 yeah every system will fit, but there will be black bars like you said. You can also use bezels to fill in the black areas and the community creates them too
@@batpixel Thanks. buddy
deffo not payng $60 for a loaded SD card
Yes the $40 and $60 crossmix cards are completely optional

@@Tropictopic69 I've been thinking about building my own Crossmix card just to try the back end of it. I really this CFW a lot
