No sir... Only me 🤣 nah I'm just kidding shoot me a message on Facebook and I can get you hooked up man. I just shot them a message seeing if they are going to do anymore clear mounts.
@HoustonSpeedFreaks Sorry for the repeat...you mentioned a potential "final fix" in your excellent video. Have you heard anything on that, and if yes, what company is producing it. Last question, is it impossible to mount the original OEM second bolt just by purchasing Ford parts?
@dmor3359 unfortunately no you would have to replace the entire rear subframe to get that other bolt. And the other company did release something but it’s twice as much and in my opinion not as good of a design as the AWR is. I’ve been on the AWR mount this entire time and I drive the car really hard with over 100 track passes and zero issues so far 😁
I have a 2022 and it’s the ST so it’s a 400 hp application all ST’s are. Some later 22s have came with the “2 bolt” subframe and even some 23s. But I’ve already seen a few 23s posted with a “1 bolt” subframe Idk what ford is doing honestly lol, seems like they are all over the place. They did this with the focus too on a lot of little things that would change year to year and then go back and forth
Got a 23 Ford Explorer king ranch with the 3.0L 400hp motor. Mine came with w 1 bolt diff, not two. Guess I’ll be looking into getting this mount very soon.
Hi Sir. I am watching you from Iraq. Great video and nice and clean work. I have 2021 Explorer Limited 4WD. Do I need to install this mount in my car or not? Kind regards.
I greatly appreciate the kind words, some 21s came with both bolts some didn't in the rear and by two bolts I really mean 4. If you're doing a lot of hard launches and hard driving I'd look into getting one as just a precaution.
As mentioned in the video I'm honestly not sure who's making it or anything like that I've heard the bare minimum.... I'm Just in the dark as much as the rest of everyone else is.
Stock height I could get under it me being 6’1 but I completely understand now that I’m lowered ain’t no way lol, but yes you can do it while the rear wheels are on ramps😁
Is your explorer a early 22, I see it's still a single bolt rear end. My 22 is a 2 bolt rear end and makes the nut brace bar much more challenging to get in.
Hey man just curious if you watched the video at all, I felt as if I described what it's for pretty well. But Incase not. This is a rear differential brace, it helps with keeping things where they should be when you're doing hard launches with the car.
@@HoustonSpeedFreaks They'll certainly put it down with the right mods and tune. I love to drive my 23" now that we figured out what that annoying clunk was coming from the front end. It took two trips to the dealership and a loaner car, but I got it back and while they were removing the right front strut for replacement they noticed the upper bearing had separated. So they installed a new RF strut, upper bearing, strut mount, and did an alignment. Problem Solved!! Reading through the invoice it says “Found SSM 52405 for front strut noise and vehicle falls within build date of SSM criteria" So Ford is aware of this issue somewhere along the line. I know a lot of folks are experiencing this same issue and no one seemed to have a solution I could find. Except that the dealerships were telling them it was normal. DON'T buy that crap if yours is making what sounds like a strut or ball joint noise from the front end!! I'm still getting rid of it before the warranty is up unless I start having some really good experiences with it.
If you don’t plan on tuning or racing your explorer you don’t need it, if you do and have a single bolt diff then I’d recommend one so you don’t break the rear bolt. And drop your rear diff 😁
Awesome video @houstonspeedfreeks! The clear mount looks great on the Explorer. Great install!
I appreciate that and thanks for making another awesome product 😁
Is the clear mount available for purchase for others?
No sir... Only me 🤣 nah I'm just kidding shoot me a message on Facebook and I can get you hooked up man. I just shot them a message seeing if they are going to do anymore clear mounts.

On the 2022 or 2023 has FORD gone back to the 2 stud dual bushing subframe? For the 400hp applications?
I have a 2022 and it’s the ST so it’s a 400 hp application all ST’s are.
Some later 22s have came with the “2 bolt” subframe and even some 23s. But I’ve already seen a few 23s posted with a “1 bolt” subframe

Question: I have explore ST 2022 and its make a noise crack when i launched Is it because of that had one blot?
ratcheting e18 wrench makes the 3 oclock bolt much easier, if you have the borla exhaust the pipe is right in your way, makes it damn frustrating
I have ratcheting wrenches but definitely not in an e18 🤣 it was still a pain with the stock exhaust too but I bet even worse with an aftermarket lol
Hi Sir.

Got it.
Appreciate your response a lot.
You mention there might be another product that's even better than the AWR. Any more info on that?
As mentioned in the video I'm honestly not sure who's making it or anything like that I've heard the bare minimum.... I'm Just in the dark as much as the rest of everyone else is.
@@HoustonSpeedFreaks got it, thought you might know more since you had at least heard of the rumor. keep us posted if something comes out!
Definitely will man!
Think he's talking about the Steeda. Looks bombproof but almost double the price of the AWR
Can I do this while having my rear wheels on ramps? I’m 6’2 and feel pretty tight under the vehicle if it’s not on jacks
Stock height I could get under it me being 6’1 but I completely understand now that I’m lowered ain’t no way lol, but yes you can do it while the rear wheels are on ramps😁
@@HoustonSpeedFreaks thanks for the response! I’m definitely going to use ramps just so I can also inspect under there 🤣
3:05, that's what they called you in High School, right? "Easy & Hard"...
Always easy and always hard 😏
Is your explorer a early 22, I see it's still a single bolt rear end. My 22 is a 2 bolt rear end and makes the nut brace bar much more challenging to get in.
Yes mine is an early 22 model. I'm a little upset that they went back to the two bolt rear end. I feel cheated 😅
My 22 ST has 1 Bolt🤔
Came across your video... What in-tarnation is that, what the heck does it do or help??? I am confused!!!
Hey man just curious if you watched the video at all, I felt as if I described what it's for pretty well. But Incase not. This is a rear differential brace, it helps with keeping things where they should be when you're doing hard launches with the car.
@@HoustonSpeedFreaks thank you and I did and glad to know about the issue and I will definitely will be ordering one👍
Any word on the 3rd mount/brace option?
Yes actually just got some word on it 👀
and do you have a product name yet?
Why did you swap it out from the FENFAB?
Fenfabs aren’t strong enough for the power level I was going for.

@cwsosby I don’t have any issues out of mine and I’m my own warrant but thanks for the heads up lol the front strut hats are notorious for going out
Do you install these or care too? I’m in the Houston area
Absolutely I do installs on the side of my real job 😁
And how much is this and why do you need it …🤷♂️ what size Thermal pipes do you have and it there adequate clearance

Which e wratchet is it?
E18 😁
