- Marvel Ultimate Alliance is a relic of a series. It was released at a different time. Superheroes weren't as prominent as they are today so it was special back then and now it's still just as special.

Ultimate Alliance is one of those franchises that I feel has some top tier unrealized potential in the modern era. I know Marvel Heroes Omega was a thing, but in the modern Disney/Marvel Games landscape, I really want an honest swing at a Diablo-inspired Marvel beat em up. Feels like you could do non-stop events, character drops, skins, etc. Marvel is basically doing this already in Fortnite 😭
Man, in retrospect Marvel's Avengers really dropped the ball. You are right in this video when you mention there being some shared DNA there. They really should have positioned that game less as a triple-A Spider-Man kind of Avengers game and instead leaned WAY MORE into Ultimate Alliance. Keep the third person combat, but go with a more colorful, less resource-intense art style. Make the game easier to build out over time. Gah, it seems so simple
I don't understand why they haven't made their DCUO competitor, it seems like it would print money

There are some rumours going around that Xbox are working to get them re licensed - I don't think they're reliable but we can all hope
