Never get tired of listening to George Jones or Randy Travis. I am a sucker for the old country songs and singers. Brings back so many memories of growing up and the early years of raising hell in Montreal and then raising my girls.
Those are days gone bye. There's not singers like there was back then. There some great singers that come out on u tube but there not on radio station for they don't like the politics.
I spent part of my youth watch CMT George Dolly Parton. Try to turn on any music now. it's almost all trash. No one will ever fill the shoes. Trash I say.
There will never be a better person than George Jones. And there will never be country music like this again. I love Randy Travis too. But today's country music sucks. It's such a shame.
It’s so good to hear them again. Country music being made like “country” should be performed. So sad to have lost Randy’s voice as early as we did but it’s even sadder for me to watch Randy sit with his wife and we all know his heart and soul aches wishing he could play and sing for us. God bless them both ❤❤

The song "He stopped loving her today" Was something touched me to the core, because my father really had a drinking problem, my father and mother had been married 18 yrs my father, at the age of 40 developed blood clots in his legs he lost one leg and went to lose the other, I'm sure if anyone knows anything about a man you can only imagine what it would be like for a young active man to endure. It was horrible !! At times he would use his crutches and fall which it would break open his wound, at his stump, blood would spatter on the walls and curtains. Lord helps us !! Anyway, at 47 he went to the hospital, and had massive blood clots, which was the last of him. My mother had moved away before that but she came to see him ONE MORE time. About as sad as it gets. That song is exactly what went down in my family.
my cat came and put her head on the screen of my phone and kept her eyes on the whole program of Randy Travis and George Jones but any one comes up on the screen she leaves ,she has done this. twice not just once
My husband was in a wheelchair when I married him, but in his last days he ended up having to have both of his legs took off cause of gangrene but he tried to help me and others all he could do even though the dr put him in a Nursing Home cause of my health of not being able to get him up but always was thinking and helping others there too so never give up

What a moment when Randy took off in the wrong key on Tonight the Bottle Let Me Down. It’s rare anymore to see mistakes left in videos. A mistake by a pro followed by a pro recovery. Excellent!
I AM LAUGHING AND CRYING. At 74 I remember all these people, songs and so many many memories as I danced to this music with my husband. God Bless true Country Music and the artists.
I am 71 and my husband loved George and copied his style as he was a picker too. He played the clubs and other places. He loved all the older singers and I too am sitting here crying, remembering 55 years of our lives together. He has been gone 6 months now. Music was always a big part of our lives listening to people like these two.
Wow George and Randy Sing wonderful together, and when the camera is on the audience and not the Singers, I can't tell who's Singing, cause they both sound perfect. I could listen to them all day and night too. ❤🙏🏻💝🙂
Dear George and Randy. I love the kind of country that you bring into our lives, in a world such as we live in now. @@hwickliff trust me,I watched them!! Including the black folks, to which as far as I saw, had the greatest reaction of all. This of course is simply of the music they loved, appreciated and shares with their fellow Americans. Honestly, the black people showed the most joy than anyone there, and the whole house was filled with joy. For me, I cried every song. It took me back to a time when things were right in this world. This takes me back 65 years, and I tear up because my grandpa was a black cowboy in the early 1900s and all that he listened to was country and western music and I was always with him. He was born and raised in Helena, Montana in 1900 and worked on ranches alongside some of our Hollywood movie cowboys before they became famous
I had forgotten how much talent Randy Travis has. George is a legend and there will never be another George. He had that unique sound in his voice that as soon as you hear him, you know it is George. Thanks for posting.

This really brings back the old country this is great
What a moment when Randy took off in the wrong key on Tonight the Bottle Let Me Down.

MAYBE THEY CAN AND ARE. ITS THEIR SALUTE TO THE TRAIL BLAZERS AND LEGENDS. THANKS NEW COUNTRY
@@DavidMathis-rm2bj Trailblazing is innovation not a perversion of the process. When you go too far to any side it has no resemblance whatsoever to it's intended outcome. 🤦🤦🤦 And maybe quit using All Caps, no need to yell if your argument is sound.

What a gift to see these two legends together. If only I had been one of the few privileged to have been there that night.
To be in that audience would have been amazing! If you watch this again,, just note the reactions, and facial expressions of the people! I literally recorded this in 1992 on VHS live HBO, and have watched it hundreds of times! Thanks for watching and I hope you revisit often.
God bless the greatest singer's if all.

You are right about that
This takes me back 65 years, and I tear up because my grandpa was a black cowboy in the early 1900s and all that he listened to was country and western music and I was always with him. He was born and raised in Helena, Montana in 1900 and worked on ranches alongside some of our Hollywood movie cowboys before they became famous
I want to this song.
WOW 👍 👍👍
Always listened to country music. It’s just the best. Country before country was cool 😎🤣❤️
