If one fan theory is true, then the events as described here took place more than a century after the years mentioned here, and the years seen and heard about in the movie were just leftover memories from human civilization.
I will say this about Radiator Springs they NEVER forget who helped them. They make sure that particular car has a legacy there so that car will be remembered FOREVER
Although Lightning McQueen destroyed the road by accident, the community of radiator springs still appreciates how he’s a popular race car that brought the town back to life
Ever since I moved to a small town out in the Arizona desert, I've related it a lot to Radiator Springs. Shoot, Williams AZ is only a few hours away from me, and it's literally the real life Radiator Springs, small, sleepy town on Route 66 with hole-in-the-wall diners, cute curio shops, a car on top of a well known restaurant, and of course the gateway to the Grand Canyon. Cars used to be one of my favorite movies, and it is once more since I've been connecting back with my childhood. After a long day of dealing with what life has to offer, I come back to the peaceful life out here. I always forget how quiet it really is until I revisit my birthplace in California and become overwhelmed with traffic, among other busy-ness of the place. I call my town my own personal Radiator Springs because after joining my mom on her long vacations, I always forget my hate for the inconsiderate drivers, pesky varmint, and slow customer service everywhere because the peace and quiet is most worth it to me. Sorry for the rant, I tend to do that. Cars is therapeutic for me even as I turn 18 this year. I hope others reading this will find their happy place, whether its a physical place or a state of being. Good luck to you reader :)
I just visited Williams AZ last November and it was a really nice place. i have lived in Singapore my whole life so it was a really nice break from being in such a busy city
What I have learned from this video is that the Cars world has their own carified versions of Mary Poppins, Bedknobs and Broomsticks and even The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Also, does the Cars films, especially the first film, remind any of you of Kiki's Delivery Service? This is with its characterisation and even cosy and peaceful atmosphere and scenery.
I know that the original Cars film took place in 2005, but Radiator Springs was no longer visited in 1985 because of the opening of I-40 for cars to bypass the town to save 10 minutes of driving and Route 66 was decomissioned at that same year on June 26 or 27.
I'm glad you enjoyed the video! I feel like the more I learn about the Cars world, the more I feel emotionally connected to the story and the characters. Radiator Springs is so cool.
Like Radiator Springs, Tremont, Illinois is a small town. Tremont was founded in 1835 by 3 people. They were John H. Harris, William M. Sampson, and Josiah L. James. Tremont is a town of about 2,000 people.
Wait a minute! a you forgot to mention That After McQueen’s Crash In Cars 3, The town either closed for a while or no visitors came because of the crash. Oh well
Ah this was such a sweet video on Radiator Springs' former glory, and its return thanks to Lightning McQueen💜✨ Is there a possibility we can get a Cars character series, like who they were and how they came to stay in Radiator Springs prior to the events of Cars? I would really love that, Isaac😁
You plan on doing any Little Mermaid vids soon Issac? If you do here’s two topics I most want you to talk about Where did Ursula learn her magic? Why was Ariel so fascinated by the human world?
The years before Stanley became the founder after interstate 40 was built until it was decommissioned of the bypass as the travelers came in 2006 the racing headquarters was assembled and became a historical landmark which because of McQueen.🌟👍
Can you please do some videos on the rescuers and the rescuers down under to begin talking about the more underrated Disney movies. I think a great video to start with is the story of the rescue aid society.
Never been to america or route 66 but being a fan of cars franchise since its first film I feel like I know all the routes of radiator spring and wanted to feel that thing.
Radiator Springs seems to have returned to its familiar state of being a "forgotten" town once more. If you pay attention to the background scenes in both Cars 3 and Cars on the Road, you'll notice the absence of any other vehicles...
Maybe they are setting up the fourth chapter, originally Cars 3 was going to go back to Route 66 and also Route 99....maybe they'll have to save the town again in a different way.
Would be cool to see a video explaining a reason for multiple instances of fairy tale characters in the Shrek universe (even if it's simply due to oversight, making up a reason for it would be more fun) Like a guy named Rumpelstiltskin briefly appearing in Shrek 3, who is definitely not the same Rumpelstiltskin as the one from Shrek 4, or how we see the 3 bears as background characters a few times during the first Shrek, but the 3 bears also appear in the second Puss in Boots, and are also definitely not the same characters
That actually is kind of funny and weird and cool at the same time how the little town that was falling apart got paved back together again just by lightning be there and opening them all up to their horizons and how there is more that they can see and do…which is probably why we see Mack, Strip Weathers and his family, the historic racers, Holly ShiftWell, Finn McMissle, Van and Mini, Mia and Tia, Snot Rod, Boost, Wingo, DJ, Chick Hicks, Cruz, River Scott, Louise, Smokey…Miss Fritter visit the town as well….along side other vehicles who don’t have names. Lightning’s presence made the town be successful because racing is their thing and why not even fill up, get some snow tires, maybe a paint job and the Pixar short where they do parallel parking…take a driving class!
Really love to see those and other Disney media in cars universe(except toy car story since they show that in end credits scene along with car versions of bugs life and monster inc)
Radiator Springs is set in Arizona in the Cars franchise. While Element City in Elemental (2023) is located in Florida. Monsterpolis is located in an unknown location in the U.S.A. in the Monster World in the Monsters’ Inc. franchise.
You know, it would be interesting to know if you ever find out how small items are made in the Cars world. Items that in our world require manual dexterity that Cars don't have. Do they have specialized creator Vehicles/Machines?
It may not look like the 1960s whenever the highway was built but Fillmore was a 1960s VW Bus so it was most likely the 1960s otherwise he wouldn’t exist yet
When i was a kid There is a poster within all of the car’s characters and i stare at it for hours looking at each one of them and making up which one is who😂😂
Breaks my heart that the cars franchise is constantly voted the worst of all the Pixar releases just because no one gives a single car about nascar yet if your a nascar fan these are the greatest films Pixar ever released considering how in depth the go with accuracy and automobile/ nascar easter eggs
In cars 4 will have this Mater reunite with Finn and Holley Lighting McQueen reunite with Francisco Cruz meets Franchisco Miles Axelrod up to his evil plans again and professor Z up to his old tricks
The little boy I babysit LOVES the carsverse including planes pretty sure I dream of it . That being said I've grown to adore these movies and will always think of him when I watch them
I like imagine Stanley also found tailpipe caverns as well by accident and had a very unpleasant experience there and thus decided to never visit that cavern again.
Technically stanley could not have overheated , as he was a "stanley steamer" meaning a steam powered car, under his hood is not an engine with a radiator , but a flash boiler producing 600psi of steam pressure, the twin cylinders are located at the back near the rear wheels
Do the cars have souls and does Sally have memories of being a lost soul. The one who was an attorney in LA living life in the fast lane but never felt happy
I haven't done that before, but I think that could be really fun especially since the Disney company has been around for 100 years. It could kind of be a 100 years of villains!
i watched cars far too many times as a kid, mainly because I had the DVD and no live tv 😅 can't wait to learn the lore
Yeah I love the cars movie
Cars 1 9/10
Cars 2 8/10
Cars 3 10/10
ive seen the first one like a 100 times at this point, even saw it in theaters. This along with Wall E were my favorite animated movies
If one fan theory is true, then the events as described here took place more than a century after the years mentioned here, and the years seen and heard about in the movie were just leftover memories from human civilization.
I meant to respond to the whole video.
@@vanessasandoval96cars 2 . As a child I LOVED it but grown up and rewatching it I can see it’s major flaws and why many consider it a bad film

I love how you let Mater finish your sentence. Great editing, Issac.
Although Lightning McQueen destroyed the road by accident, the community of radiator springs still appreciates how he’s a popular race car that brought the town back to life
Radiator Springs has such an emotionally satisfying history for a fictional town!

One of the most memorable Pixar cities ever.
I completely agree! The history within that place is so rich!
I've always wondered about the backstory of Radiator Springs. So thank you for posting the video.

For a movie and universe populated by talking cars and no humans to speak of
Cars has so much heart
I love this video. Towards the end, it gave me a lump in my throat. I guess it's because of nostalgia. Thanks, Isaac.
I'm glad you enjoyed the video! I feel like the more I learn about the Cars world, the more I feel emotionally connected to the story and the characters. Radiator Springs is so cool.
@@IsaacCarlson You’re absolutely right Issac!
6:43 fly away Stanley be free man I find this funny
Since I love delving into the lore of the world of cars. This is your best video on the franchise since the one on Doc Hudson.
Disney should make a replica of Radiator Springs.
They did. It’s called Cars Land
Disney California Adventure has done that since 2012
They tried once with the precision series. Unfortunately, the set wasn't completed
Even better, just visit Seligman, AZ.
6:42 "FLY AWAY, STANLEY! BE FREE!"

Coll history lesson. :) I imagine how real towns on the real Route 66 would start out. ^^
Probably like how Las Vegas started out
Enough land and money, and BOOM! Instant culture and prominent publicity
This is a remarkable story
I've always thought that Mater was just a rusty Tow truck until I saw in the movie that his original color was a mix between light green & baby blue
This was amazing !!!!!!!!!!!
I love seeing some cars love.
No lightning, McQueen did not retire. He just wanted to help cruise out at the end of the movie he said oh I’m gonna keep racing
4:22 Specifically, whitewall tires! They practically say, "Look at me! Here I am! Llllove me."

It is one of few memories I remember as a kid is watching the movie in theaters as a kid.
0:59 Is that Lightning's engine?
But they never answered the question on how talking vehicles came to be.

It’s just, well, their romance has been a little fake to me
Hey Isaac always love to Disney content are you going to try out that new Disney racing game Disney Speedway on stream or something?

I’m a bit curious how they made room for the influx of permanent residents that came after the town was revitalized. Where do they live?
