Okay hear me out, since Cars need to eat, drink, sleep and feel pain and pleasure, you might as well make them be born and come out from the undercarriage but in order to grow up they need to buy the parts needed to fit their aging bodies, thus why there's spare parts in that universe
Iassc, with the release of Mufasa I really wanna see you delve into the Disney Multiverse because I really do think it’s something that needs to be addressed and acknowledged
I rather keep me body in reincarnation to transferred my soul into a world of medieval-fantasy place called Splitpaw & I wonder if the planet earth would be similar to like ours anyway, Like True Tail School of Heroes?
Kinda reminds me of Robots, where the robots could buy kits to make their children, then use bigger parts as they got "older" but some robots would be scrapped when their parts would no longer be made. I feel like it might be similar to that
I like to believe that the cars universe works similarly to the transformers universe (at least in the IDW comics) when it comes to how cars are made: every once in a while, young cars are made from factories, and then the young cars are assigned to two adult cars that act as their parents (in the transformers IDW comics they're called mentors). I just made that comparison between cars and transformers because they're both talking vehicles and I thought it made sense lol
The theory of manufactre does not sit with me. I was at college, final week of class before finals, at an event, with a couple of friends. We concluded a few things: Cars do not appear to have gender dimorphism. (ie, Faultless' sail-backs being different heights--no, they're all the same size.) This makes them related to reptiles. My friends figured they had lil muscles in their suspension/differentials that would vibrate really quickly to spin the wheels on a tyre, like how bees fly. The last thing we figured is that they eat but then it directly turns to oil or sludge depending on what it was that they ate (if anything). They can shut their engines off, as their respiratory system and mechanical system are independent of each other. There's a theory I had on my own, which was something I figured if they were to be born. Eggs. Since the cars have no dimorphism, this makes them reptilian. (I am on a slight disagreememt with the exoskeleton bit my friends settled on because roll bars would count as bones technically.) My thought was, the female would have special exhaust pipes that would expand, just enough for an egg to pass through painlessly. She would then sit on her nest, warming her eggs, whilst her mate took care of things. Then the eggs would hatch, as usual. The babies would be too tiny for parts, depending on the size of the car. So in their first year(s) or so, they might have a yolk sac of some sort inside their gas tank(s). By the time that yolk sac vanishes, they will have abstained the correct size for which parts can now be fitted onto them... Those are my conclusions, feel free to agree or disagree; to me, though, this makes much more sense.
3:17 that weird I mean Lighting McQueen speed is 220 in cars 2and why is McQueen speed is now 198 in cars 3when Jackson Storm show up much to his frustration
I first thought the cars were like the Toys. We even see cars ghost that cars have souls. But aren't the blue blobs. 🤯 How Destiny refered to Dory's parents and what nother word for fate like in brave 🤯
The question I have now is who would the manufacturer be? Is it other cars? Cause that then still leaves the question unanswered as they would have had to come from somewhere too. If it’s humans, then the other question would be how has it not evolved or turned out like our world, why would they decide to make cars alive. (As a Disney nerd myself, I love watching your videos aha)
I think they are born somehow, as they are multiple times proven to have organs, they can experience emotions and feelings, they can memorize things & are able to learn new things and they can die. They are sentient, emotional, living creatures. That can't possibly be built. They also have families. Mater has a sister who gets married to Cruz's cousin (i believe it was her cousin) Francesco mentions he has a mother, who is also shown on screen for short, and in Italy we meet Luigis uncle Topolino and Mama Topolino. They have families and can be biologically related to each other, so i believe they are born. A little off topic tedtalk about the cars being alive: I wanted to write down more things they can do, but then i realized: *These cars are as intelligent as humans.* i think the electric cars in Cars 3 are faster, maybe, because these cars can evolve. They have organs, they are living beings, so maybe they can evolve. In Cars 2, the spies are equipped with gear like guns, so they can also get modified for certain occupations. Cars 2 also proved Cars have organs, like brains and lungs, and that they can feel pain, experience fear and learn and understand other languages. Quido only speaks italian, Luigi is fluent in English. Guido speaks Italian all the time, but he does understand when Luigi talks to him in English. They are way too intelligent and aware to be made by humans, if they truly have human intelligence i doubt that even more.
It feels like the futurama explanation. Although the robots are initially built by MOM, they do have the have the ability to reproduce on their own. Or maybe the other explanation is that manufacturers are more like insurance agencies.
I think it's interesting how cars age considering that the radiator spring residents would all be around their 50-70's and above and even older during Cars 3
My guess? The cars (and planes, and boats and trains) are cyborgs. The mechanical portions are manufactured, then organic portions, like a brain, and other parts, are transplanted into their mechanical bodies. The organic parts are alive and have souls. Granted, this theory doesn't explain everything, but it's something think about.
@iankravitz5723 May I suggest the missing piece to your theory is nanites/nanomachines? What if in the period in WALL-E when the humans weren't on Earth that nanites/nanomachines that had been released to cleanse and revive Earth had combined bones and other organic material with the shells of vehicles like cars and planes? Unfortunately, the living machines make the same mistakes as the humans did destroying themselves and the planet again thus returning Earth to an almost unlivable wasteland.
One of the sponsors in Cars 1 and 3 is called "Tow Cap." Based on what the Piston Cup Wiki says this sponsor is, it suggested that cars DO in fact reproduce secksually.
When all the reporters find lightning in radiator springs Mack says “Thank the manufacturer you’re Alive!” Now that could either be their equivalent of god or something else.
I still think that it is a bit of both, that cars are born naturally and are also manufactured in some cases as we have undeniable evidence of both in the franchise.
I personally think that cars are born. Although, given how there are plenty of sentient vehicles in the world of cars such as planes and trains, I have reason to believe that there are some car bodies that are manufactured and an existing car can have their engine (which appears to be their brain in this universe) transferred into that other vehicle and it becomes their new body. I say this based on a deleted scene from the first movie where Lightning had a nightmare that his engine was put into a steamroller and Mater's was put into his body. Because of this, I think that if a car chooses a certain career path, they can just have their engine put into a new body to match with their new career. It would really stink to be born an airplane and have a dream of becoming a race car, only to be unable to follow that dream.
Tbh. I think lighting McQueen can keep up with Jackson storm. Because of something called a restricter plate, I believe that lighting mcqueen was only able to reach those f1 speeds in cars 2 was because he was able to take off that restricter plate. And what a restricter plate does is it restricts the speed of the car so it’s safer to race. So maybe Jackson storm isn’t faster just he is safer so he can go faster while mcqueen is more at risk because of his tech. But at the same time Jackson storm probably has a restricter plate has well. So for mcqueen to have a chance somehow nascar officials would be have to be fine with mcqueen changing a rule that would only effect him n allow him to go faster bc that’s fair for everyone. So if mcqueen could’ve raced without a restricter plate while jackson storm and everyone else had one then he would’ve been able to keep up and probably could’ve won as well.
I always thought it was like the movie robots they kinda get upgrades . They both grow and upgrade. And newer models were always being made like McQueen was in the first and storm was the newer model in the 3rd
I also believe that there’s a mixture of vehicles being manufactured and born naturally. The thought of all vehicles being manufactured just dosn’t sit right with me.Especially with cases like Dusty, which bothered me do the longest time, even when I was, little. Why would they stop making such a clearly vital part like a gearbox when vehicles like Dusty clearly needed them? Was it on purpose?Did they go out of business? I think maybe manufactures were ment to be a aid, like for parents that couldn’t have biological children to still have the option to have them, but some time down the line some manufactures did start to mass produce defuucnt cars/vehicles for there own benifit in some way (Hence the lemons!) ,either for money or otherwise, as bigger, larger transportation vehicles (Trains, Boats, maybe bigger planes like 747’s) and breeding faster cars/airplanes etc for sport,(hence next gen racers).

I’ll be honest, I was kind of wondering that type of question myself.

To quote Lockdown:"You think you were born?YOU WERE BUILT!"
There is the classic theory that the SHELL is manufactured, and a biological creature resides inside, like hermit crabs they molt over time.

Think about Robots from Blue sky studios.
The way how they grew up parts came in each year baby toddler kid teenager adult.
Robots came out The Year before cars and saw baby robot and kept getting now parts

Perhaps the manufacturer(s) can be like God(s) in the world of Cars. I always knew Santa Sicilia was from a different Pixar’s movie.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I honestly don't think we're ever gonna get an actual definitive answer
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I always thought of the movies as a child playing with toys and pretending they are alive
Cars universe gets easier to understand if we take humans out of the equation entirely.
9:08 That's what I thought several years ago.
True 🤔
Maybe humans build them
They come from the Well of all Sparks on Cybertron
As Dr. Frankenstein said but edited: They're alive.
if the manufacturing theory is true, then who is the manufacturer? would cars know who made them?
But the question is if young cars exist how can they grow up
I like to think of it like the movie robots
So its both? Cars that are built and cars that are born
I think theyre similar to Transformers. Bio mechanical beings
What the factory is in space and drops the cars off on earth
My theory is that the cars are a hybrid of biological organisms and mechanical machinery.
Or Cars, as a franchise, doesn't make sense at all.
They probably hatch from some sort of eggs
The pixar theory answers this question for you.
