The story of the new five is tragic. These snow leopards could have their own identities so I hope the new five would back for foreseeable future so that they can get a better fate they had.

I feel like It could be cool if they became the Furious Five of a different region in China and could act as contemporaries of the Furious Five in the Valley of Peace, where they could help them out from time to time and vise-versa

_Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness_ is such an underrated series. And Junjie is one of my favorite villains from the series. He's such a great contrast to Shifu and his creepy leopard's faults show why the true Furious Five works so well.
@Joshua 1992 Yes.. there will be--it's been confirmed by DREAMWORKS. It's going to release on March 8th, 2024. Also the man who directed the MASTERPIECE that is Puss In Boots 2: The Last Wish--will direct Kung Fu Panda 4 ;)
I never watched the Kung Fu Panda Nickelodeon series like the classical movies but man I heard some good things about it lol.

The show is extremely enjoyable and a wonderful time and has lots of great character development, lore building--along with wonderful moments between Po, Shifu, & The Furious Five--however it's canonicity to the overall UNIVERSE of the films is under question.

Many of the Kung Fu Panda villains are filled with rage and anger. Tai Lung wanted to be the dragon warrior. Lord Shen wanted to rule all of China. Kai wanted revenge against Oogway. Junji wanted to rule the Jade Palace. All of them fell at the hands of the Furious Five and or the Dragon Warrior.
Lord Shen is probably the most cruel and most evil kung fu panda villain kai is the most powerful kung fu panda villain tai lung is the most tragic kung fu panda villain The weasels are the worst kung fu panda villains
The thing that Ogway seems to lack is to allow for redemption. All of this could have been avoided if he just tried to direct these dark tendencies his students had.
I never saw the series so I don't know the full context and dialog used (I'll have to fix that soon!)
But it sounds like, Oogway's lack of communication came off as a lack of compassion for Junjie. If Junjie had issues before he was even able to realize it, it sounds like Oogway should have communicated that concern. With Oogay guiding Junjie down a path of self-betterment, at least it would be all on Jungie if he accepts or rejects this path of betterment guided to him.
The point of his teachings is for the students to find their own paths based on their teachings.
That’s like saying someone is dumb because they fell into a pit trap even though someone who knew there was a trap did not tell them there was one
As Zaberfang said, Oogway didn’t want students that would follow him, he wanted students to follow their hearts, where their own destiny would lead them. He only acted as a teacher, to allow people to find their own paths where they otherwise wouldn’t. It is up to the individual to find their way out of darkness, for if they didn’t, then they never would. Helping them would only lead them to fall to darkness later, possibly in a position of power, where he cannot help them or stop them.
To say it’s like letting someone fall into a pit trap isnt the point, the point is to help them learn how to see the pit traps, so they may avoid them or climb out of them if they do fall, because telling them where one pit trap is doesn’t help them when you’re not there, because there’s not just one pit trap. If they still fall in, you cannot help them, because that is the path they have chosen to follow and proves they would do so again, which is proven in this video by Junji’s inability to let go of his desire to succeed over Shifu

The new five could really develop into their own characters after their abandonment. They really should get their redemption arc.

Not going to lie I LOVED THE NEW FURIOUS FIVE! I ALWAYS geeked out every time they showed up! Their design was cool and I wished that they standed out more. I was completely heartbroken when I didn't see them in the episode "forsaken and furious"! To hear that they were left in jorgam to rote was a huge hit to me! Those leopard students deserved more than what happened to them!
I think the new Furious Fove are victims of Master Junjie they were trained to be Kung Fu masters only to be left aside and they have nothing else for them live for so I hope they can maybe one day get Redemption and find new meaning to their lives.
I think po accidentally helped create the furious five because he bumped into tigress and they got there list mixed up!

I’m starting to think Snow Leopards in this franchise are just predestined to have a tragic story. Tai Lung was practically told by his dad he’d be something he wouldn’t be and became evil because of it (hoping he gets a redemption arc in KFP4), these guys were raised to be mindless weapons for someone else’s vendetta. It’s a sad fate really

Like Tai Lung, these snow leopards paid the price for learning Kung Fu. They were groomed into believing they would accomplish great things, only to have those dreams crushed and turned to dust. However, unlike Tai Lung they can still redeem themselves as we’ve seen with other former villains. Only time will tell whether they follow a better path or not.
I’ve probably asked this before but with the current plot where are the furious five? Are they protecting the Jade palace or off doing their own thing while Po is fighting those 2 siblings who are after powerful relics
ikr? it feels like the past 2 shows that have come out have just completely dropped the 5. which is kinda sad because their dynamics with Po in Legends of Awesomeness was one of the highlights of the show and really helped to flesh them out in more detail

Junjie's students were certainly skilled but their drawback was being too identical. By only following what Junjie taught them, they more or less were just carbon copies of one another.

I already watch dragon knight and seeing the ancient americas in the series is pretty cool and considering they landed on the west coast of Mexico or Central America is pretty cool
Well, there was why Junjie wasn't part of the furious five and not the master and caretaker for the Jade palace. He was arrogant and prideful (much like Tai Lung) but unlike Tai Lung; Junjie was jealous not just because Shifu was picked over him but they both also fell in love with the same girl. Whether or not Junjie had something to do with her being kicked out of the palace, I don't know.
Why would he love somebody who steals from him. Plus, he wanted to kill her on the spot!
@Mera2300 When she stole from him, yes, I do agree. But at the time, he was in love with her. Jealousy can be a dangerous thing. He wanted Shifu dead above all else.

I been watching Chinese dramas, where life happens within the Imperial Palace. So this is what I believe… the new furious 5 we’re probably poor or abandon so Master Juni, gave them opportunity to become or be something better with a roof and a full tummy so they never have to suffer again. In return he will teach them kingfisher but demands absolutely loyalty. That way his army would be ever growing and bc the leapords had nothing in the beginning they would always stay with Juni. So like servants in Chinese history their life belong to they’re Master and their only goal is to Peale their master nothing else matter. For that reason alone, that’s why the snow leopards lack emotion or individuality, there was no need for it. They were only meant to be weapons nothing more or less.😢

Master Junjie is one of my favorite characters. Hope Shifu makes him the next master when he retires.
To be honest I grew watching Legends of Awesomeness ,when I was little. I never realize that the fox trained show leopards. In order to be more pleasing towards Oogway, at first.

When I hear junjie’s voice all I hear is Hawthorne abendsen from man in the high castle since Stephen root was in both shows and my theory to junjie’s five is that they are clones

Teaches people power, but simply brushes them aside when they show negative traits instead of teaching them to overcome it.

Tai Lung claps them all. None of the leopards are a match to Tai Lung
Tai Lung may seem like he was defeated at the beginning during his fight with the furious five, but once he was tied up and lose, he didnt give up. He got up and was like: "SIKE JK." And suddenly defeated them all easily. That indicates that he never truly thinks that they are a match to him. A small detail of how Tai Lung can easily balance on the bridge rope while Tigress is struggling with her balance on the BRIDGE and NOT the BRIDGE ROPE. Now imagine the fight between Tai Lung and ghe 5 leopards. That would be too ez.
Kind of Remind me of Bison's Dolls in the Street Fighter series, they are tools to complete goals, not individuals.
I would say that, in a future proceeding from the events of LoA (which now seems to be ignored, along with the Five even existing), Po would attempt to engage with the new five, showing them the way to break out of their rigid soulless routine. I could even see them benefitting from Peng's Kung Fu Club, as the commoners' variant styles would make them see new ways. They served evil, but calling them evil may be misapplied, since they as raised had next to no will of their own.
Oh, and potential brilliant Easter Egg Bonus: 'Junji' is not only the name of deadly sharp sticks in martial arts, but of a fairly dark mangaka, Junji Ito, whose works definitely go 'there'. You know all the gross stuff that Kung Fu Panda hints at and makes some shudder and some go ewwww without going into the details? Junji Ito lives inside those details.

My guess is the Chinese translations of whatever animals they are, like Oogway, but I don't know Chinese. At all.
They were brainwashed from childhood. They still are reasonable for their actions as adults, but I wish they got a second chance.

I think it's because of his teaching style of letting them choose their own paths.
While it is good to let your students have the freedom to be who they want to be, it is also important to be a regular source of support and guidance to prevent this kind of stuff from happening.

Here’s a kung fu master from legends of awesomeness, that is more despicable junjie Mugan she is a sadist teacher, who works for students until they break her last student got crippled so he can never do kung fu again
Yeah. What's more she felt hypocritical. Demanding for precision when most of her training for Tigress didn't feel geared towards it. What's more, she likely referred to her goldfish style of precision, with no other reference similar that could be translated to non fish. What's more, she trains just for training. She's living with servants and students so i doubt she actually teaches students skills that could be used out of training. Also, in the training montage, she is only shown giving disapproval at the end of the day. She isn't teaching, just giving exercises and what looks like hazing.
How much you wanna bet She's bitter about being contained by water, doubt she'd be that great in the ocean even if she could live there as a goldfish, so she works them till they are as hindered as she is but still expects the same skill.

No. Monarch is a generic word that literally anyone can use, and has existed long before Venture Bros.
