old gigabyte intel boards were constantly having BIOS bit rot so they stuck 2 bios chips on them. Still usually 1 failing bios means most of the times it gets bricked.

This problem seems to be almost exclusively a Gigabyte issue. Firmware (it's not BIOS) rot just randomly happened to me. Like this, a firmware update restored me to a previously working CPU+RAM+Firmware verison. Other repair channels that lift the firmware chips to flash also happen to be mostly Gigabyte repairs.

I had once bios crash and reflashing with a programmer via clip helped, without soldering. I didn't have another CPU to work but it just happened without a reason.

iv never had issues with GB dual Bios.. I loved it on x570 Aorus Master ( x570S AM removed it and cost more ? wtf)
