    May i get some information on your sources for motherboard documentation, like the tool that shows all the motherboard components and their connections?

      The Software is called Boardviewer! The difficult part is to get the specific files for the Boards! There are discords like Learn electronics repair or Electronics repair shool where you can request them under certain conditions!

    I've been experimenting with a few of those 12v mining/pico psu for my computer, I got a 360 Watt one and it just passes 12 volts straight through to the motherboard so be careful with what voltage you give it and I'll be interested in seeing the output voltage ripple/quality oscilloscope test if you get time

    Do you have a Link to the Russian DDR4 Memory tester that has the leds only if there's a problem?

    • @MainboardMedic
      @MainboardMedic  ปีที่แล้ว

      Sadly there is not just a shop where you can get it. If there would be, i would have already gotten it!

    Is there no debug tester for ddr5 ram?

    No heating plate? Got a dead z390 aorus master that I suspect has a dead chipset but don't have a thermal camera, from what I understand there shouldn't be any shorted caps on the chipset and I have a few shorted ones. Ordered a cheapo 7$ heating plate from Aliexpress, still waiting for it, will try on some dead boards before going for the chipset.

    • @MainboardMedic
      @MainboardMedic  ปีที่แล้ว

      I do have a preheater, that was about 100€, but its too small for Mainboards. Ive had a BGA station before and what i encountered was, that if you want to do anything BGA related on Mainboards like the socket or Chipset you need to preheat the whole board and not just the area where you want to work on, because the warping gets to bad and then chipsets and sockets wont lay flat anymore. But i would be interested in your results!

    • @Roman00744
      @Roman00744 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@MainboardMedic thank you for the answer and the important detail about warping, lol you understood me without me even telling you the whole story, Nice 👍. Will definitely try on a crappy dead board and not the master. Bga station is very expensive, not for home use, yeah now that I think about it the guy I watched changing a chipset used a huge preheater, well guess the 7$ heater won't do but might still try on a crappy board

      You can defenetly get some experience with a crappy board and try some things. @@Roman00744

    Hello 🤝 great equipment and great videos, best regards👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏👋👋👋👋👋P.S. I wanted to ask if you have ever had experience with a Gigabyte aourus B450 pro board with error code 15, the board does not go through the post procedure, what do you think about it, could it be the BIOS?

    • @MainboardMedic
      @MainboardMedic  ปีที่แล้ว

      Erorr Code 15 is quiet early in the chain. I would expect 00 if the Bios would be dead. I would check the voltages first on the board, exspecially around CPU and RAM and if they are all present, flashing the Bios would be an option!

    Great videos my man ! Love watching them.. Any chance you can link the Russian version of the DDR4 tester ? I bought the same one as yours and the text on the board is really bad.. cannot read anything and makes the device useless.

    • @MainboardMedic
      @MainboardMedic  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The site is called ozon.ru and you need to google for DDR tester!
