The quality of Milestar tires is Very spotty. We've seen lots of them fall apart for no apparent reason. A lot of buggy guys on a budget went with the cheap 40' pats and those not only hook-up like crap, they also often fall apart. You get what you pay for.

Yep, Milestars are the weakest sidewall I ever had on my rig! I won't run them again.
We've been running the Patagonia tires without issues. Been to Cayote lake a few times, rubicon and slick rock. 12 lbs on 8", no bead locks.
