Been a couple years, not many 👍 or people agree.
I remember this trail. A bunch of Socalxj’s ran it. Pretty good trail. We were met at the end of the trail by cops chasing an armed car jacker.
I lost 20 plus degrees using AMS Oil Trans fluid... My engine package has many gauges which revealed the trans ran much cooler using AMS Oil... That isn't my only observation...
§Ø Ƈ💿📀ட😎😎😎🥸🥸
I didn’t think I’m running the best tire. That’s why I’m watching, my tires suck!
Corporate greed never wins. When BFG went up on price, people went a different direction with a a tire. BFG lost sales because of that price spike.
I’ve watched your outdoor channel for years. Not knowing or making the correlation you have this channel. I’ve been into off-roading longer than rifles. And I hope to see you at KOH 2025! I have a some questions/want your opinion on a few things. Have an email I can connect with?
Hello, this is Zoe from Spelab, how can I have a business inquiry with you? Thank you:)
Thanks for a great vid! I used one of those Lokar dipstick tubes, and unfortunately it leaked. Not at the junction where it it bolts to the transmission with a sandwiched top hat seal, but at the lower quick connect. There is only a single small o-ring seal inside the quick connect fitting, so on the whole it's not really a step forward from a bolt down dipstick tube.
Thank you for the break down!!! Put the CS-130 in my 85 Jimmy with no ECM. Originally only used the 1 wire method (trash) and kept killing my battery. Installed plug, resister, and dumb dumb light and WOW, PROBLEM SOLVED! Thanks, DOG👍
Could you or anyone with a Ready Welder 2 snap a few photos of the wiring from the green PCB? Found my Dads welder but hes no longer with us but it seemed he had an issue because the bundle(+ wire, gas hose & small black wire w/ blue wire connector) going into the butt of the gun has been disconnected. Id really appreciate photos from you or anyone else that can provide them, Thanks.
Ready welders website was active the day I found the unit, 8/31/24 but today 9/3/24 all it says is "Ready Welder by Broco, Coming soon, something cool is coming" So looks like they must of sold to another company.
So much fun. We just ran it too
Great wheelin,camping and fishing spot👍🏻
Yep, Milestars are the weakest sidewall I ever had on my rig! I won't run them again.
Going wheeling and having gorgeous views to boot. Sweet.
We've been running the Patagonia tires without issues. Been to Cayote lake a few times, rubicon and slick rock. 12 lbs on 8", no bead locks.
The quality of Milestar tires is Very spotty. We've seen lots of them fall apart for no apparent reason. A lot of buggy guys on a budget went with the cheap 40' pats and those not only hook-up like crap, they also often fall apart. You get what you pay for.
Great weekend wheeling, fishing, beautiful weather, hope everyone had as great a time as watching, thanks for sharing, all the best to you and your loved ones
What kind if buggy would you recommend for someone just getting into rock or trail crawling? I want to build my own but don’t want to ruin a truck or jeep
very good video that is some great advice
Great video, to the point and easy to follow. Thanks
Man I want to build one so bad!
GREAT VIDEO BUT COULDN'T HELP THINKING THAT VINCE NEIL WAS NARRATING THE VIDEO!! LOL!!
Steelit weldable paint
Probably the best video I have seen on an ALT install. So, is this a 3-wire setup?
great video, simple and to the point .love the accessories and diagrams
Sadly I'm retiring my cb rigs and I just got my gmrs license. Looking forward to it!
Loving the soundtrack!!!😁💯👌 your humor is right up my ally! Butts!😂
Thanks for sharing. My opinion is it would have been better without the music, just the sound of the buggies and rocks. Probably hard to do with a drone though I guess.
When I integrate drone footage, there will be music.
Looked like a great day wheeling, great buggies, thanks for sharing, all the best to yous and your loved ones
Does that regulator freeze after a while?
Hit me up next time you head out to Ridgecrest. Saw some of your older vids on this area. I live here now, looking for this kind of fun
Imm with ya on Revolution gears. Im happy with mine🤙
Should be seeing a repair video soon???
Probably not. I don't know the extent of the damage. I will need to pull the transmission and see how bad the housing is damaged. Luckily, this was the last "buggy run" until it cools off in October. So, I have all summer to fix it.
Cool to see your rear steer working!
Great video man! Liked and sub'd🤙
Sweet! FYI….that’s not “Kings Veto”…it’s Dead Blow. Dave Cole is a clown and claimed that since the KOH course was going down instead of up he could rename it “Kings Veto”…..lmao. Riiiiiight
So, these are my friends, as is Dave Cole. So, what event did you create that had over 100,000 people attend?
@okieking8329. You are very, very confused. Deadblow was renamed "Kings Graveyard" by Dave Cole years ago; but Deadblow IS NOT featured in this video (I have a video of it on my channel from years ago). The trail in this video is "KINGS VETO"; which was created for the 2023 King of Hammers. It always pays to do research before jumping to conclusions.
New DesertDog wheelin video! Fuck yeah!🤘🤘🤘
only thing & to me it is a big thing, that I dont like about these type trail welders with spool on the end.... is when watching folk use them in vids..... half the time or more the spool is in the way and the welder has to crawl all over the place back and forth to reposition themselves and the gun. Hopefully I am getting around this with a vintage snap on luggable (listed as portable; but not really) 24v welder. Similar to suitcase welders of today but at 5th the price (if it still works) PS- someone started a vacebook page on Vintage portable welders . (change v to f) Please do stop in and add your vintage setup or help out with others dealing with them. Search for group name "Vintage: Portable Battery/Alternator Welders"
Hey Awesome video, would you recommend the Holley sniper? Would you consider it to be reliable for a daily driver?
At this point, after years of use; I do not recommend it.
Quite a break! What is the tire size and crawl ratio?
I’m never running an axle shaft that takes 12+ weeks to arrive. Glad found faster
IT's Backwardsfield ZERO surprise!
Like a magician, you are pulling out so many spare parts from that little box. Unbelievable!!
Thanks for another great vid Chris. Do you use/recommend a "holdback" or transbrake feature on your 400 valvebody? Or just stay on the brakes going downhill?
Always order a valve body that features "engine braking" for a rock crawler.
This needs to be a chapter in the bible right before revelations 🍻
That was a ton of fun, see you guys next year.
Looks like a great day out, with a few friends, hope you all had a great time, thanks for sharing, all the best to yous and your loved ones
That's my zuzuki wi have fun
🤣
