I have a 2015 Ford explorer limited. I was constantly getting those messages you mentioned. My battery is almost brand new. Disconnecting the sensor ring from the negative cable and it worked. Mahalo
My ford fusion nav screen was showing that familiar message “system off to save battery”. The car worked and started fine. So I used the reset BMS procedure as you show. But right after that a yellow wrench icon appeared and my Fordpass alerted to a Powertrain fault detected reduced power. Once I started the car the yellow wrench icon went away. But it did scare me. I will take my car to get battery replaced since it is over five years old now.
I have a 2023 Ford F150 and have been getting this message occasionally when I turn off the vehicle. The battery has been tested and all good there. Also, my interior lights will not come on when opening the doors. Would this be related to the sensor you have described in video?? Thanks
What does also cause your battery to be at 12 volts or lower every morning the voltage drops very quickly from 12.6 down to as low as 11.6 the battery test is good and the alternator is charging
Ford calls this the BMS(Battery Management System). There are ways to reset it very easily. Matter of fact anytime you change the battery the BMS must be reset. Of course disconnecting might be a solution as well.

Thank you so much it was my EBS!

Same thing here , 2023 F150
Same! Everything tested good so I’m sure it’s an issue with the battery saver mode as I’ve read many people have had issues with it.
Turns out it was my alternator. Car was running on battery only (2014 Ford fusion)
Just got this message. My battery is five years old so I guess it is the battery I need to replace

yes mine just started in my edge st about 2 mos ago and now its sluggish to start and start stop no longer works time to replace 5 yr old ford battery
My (UK) 2024 Ford Focus has this problem. Surely, doing what is suggested in the video only masks the problem and not actually fixes it?
Hi, thanks for watching. I believe replacing the IBS sensor should permanently fix the problem (although you can mask the problem without any issues).
You're not making the problem if the battery is good and the EBS isn't.
Thank you so much sir
Could this be from my dash cam? Also, could this prevent my truck from starting?
It is a great possibility that it is. They draw a lot of power from the battery when the engine isn't running
nothing in this video helped. I don't know what to do now😢
I thought my battery was weak so I went and replaced it
Wouldnt own a Ford ever.
Haha. Totally get where you're coming from about Fords. I see/hear they improved over the years (Don't quote me on that :)).
All cars have similar occasional issues
