So surprised I never heard this growing up. Was born in ‘92 and grew up listening to McGraw, but I literally just heard this at a RaceTrac gas station, I had to look it up. Love it!

@nemesisgenius My favorite line was when he talk about buying his baby a diamond ring💍 for her. Asking for a little vacation too. All I Want was my favorite album. I like Everywhere and For A Little While too. I like Not A Moment Too Soon from his second album.
@nemesisgenius I am looking at 1997 charts on Radio & Records and according to the charts database, "Maybe We Should Just Sleep On It" peaked at #3 in December 1996. It was #5 on 1/10/1997's chart, but fell all the way from #5 to #27 on the following chart for 1/17/1997. There was no charts published from late Dec 1996 to first week of January 1997. If there had been charts published, it may have went to #1 but it didn't make it.

I have all of Tim's albums and I had a license plate on my car back then that said "All I Want" Tim McGraw. His concerts were the best. I remember them starting out with "Indian Outlaw".

I was fortunate enough to have my memory refreshed when I heard this song on the radio a little while ago. It may not be amongst Tim's most well-known tunes, but it's definitely a big favorite of mine! He does a great job of conveying the emotions behind the lyrics! On a lesser note, I like how he reaches out when singing "I want a piece of that pie."

Remember this on the title album. Took it on holiday and listened to it endlessly. Think the whole album was his best. Why did he go so wrong recently. All soppy emotional stuff.

This is what I would want to hear at a Tim McGraw concert: the ones that got him started (this, "She Never Lets It Go to Her Heart", "Refried Dreams", etc.), but he has so many hits, he can't play them all!

Always wanted to see him live. Have loved his music from the beginning. I finally got the chance a couple of weeks ago and Tim did NOT disappoint. I've been to a lot of concerts but sound quality, entertainment wise and just overall performance Tim is truly one of the best out there. I'll definitely go and see him again if he comes thru my town..... WOW! Impressed would be an understatement......
