It was released on February 20, 1995, as the fifth and final single from his album "Not a Moment Too Soon" (1994). The song peaked at number 5 on the US Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks (now Hot Country Songs) chart. It was featured in the CoolGamesInc game "Tim McGraw's What If? Trucks: Fates". On his 1995 album "Cledus T. Judd (No Relation)", the song was parodied as "Refried Beans". The music video was directed by Sherman Halsey, and was filmed in Tijuana, Mexico. It features McGraw singing in a Mexican-themed town, as well as interacting with him walking across a busy street. It changes from day to night. The last scene of the video shows him performing with his band The Dancehall Doctors.👍
I was at that performance..it was awesome.
The fact that it was filmed in Tijuana explains why it looks nothing like Acuña, which is the Mexican city across from Del Rio.

I had forgotten about this. I appeared as an extra for the dance scene on the pavilion - Frame 1:58 ..just behind the girl white. Myself and another guy had to teach a couple of models how to 2-step. We were supposed be 2-stepping in a circle but every time the camera came in for a close up, the models would rush the guard rail to get their faces into the camera. We did quite a few re-shoots. Afterwards .. Free Beer in T.J. Mexico.
