Out of curiosity, what didn't you like about rock? I feel like rock is literally impossible to hate simply because it's such a huge and diverse genre that encompasses so many types of songs, so you're bound to like certain types of rock. "Rock" includes anything from Jimi Hendrix to the All American Rejects, from Elvis to Black Sabbath, from Chuck Berry to Gwen Stefani, from Queen to Coldplay. I would go as far as to say that rock is the single biggest genre in the world, both in terms of variety as well as sheer popularity. That's why I'm curious as to how you could possibly hate rock?
AC is most likely the nicest person I know. We1st met in the early 90s, his daughter (Calico) and my niece were friends and belonged to the same dance studio. Years later, I ran into Alice Cooper, his wife and their other children, at an antique shop in Phoenix, he is just an effin nice guy!

The first time I saw Alice Cooper live was in the mid 90's. The highlight for me was he asked the audience (us) to request any song for them to play, I immediately screamed Poison as loud as I possibly could. He turned to the band and waved the baton, and BAM! Poison! Great memory from an amazing show!
I was 12 when "Billion Dollar Babies" came out. I remember my older brother listened to Alice Cooper and I started to really pay attention and listen to his music. I knew even as a kid that his music was really good, and catchy, controversial and dark yet he seemed like a "decent guy" despite his bad boy image. I even bought "Billion Dollar Babies" way back then in the 70s when I was just a pre-teen. I would say, though, that Poison is my favorite song of his for the sheer quality of the songwriting and execution and emotion of it. It is so well crafted and it's timeless.
If you are still here!?!?!? Brother , this music will live forever and we will be here forever ! Even my great grandchildren will listen to this song !

You discovered a gold mine. Take your time
Alice Cooper was the first concert I ever went to - about a month and a half before I was born. Pretty sure I was rocking devil horns in the womb.
Never is too late if your joy is good
This song was so dark and haunting that even just listening to it gave you the thrill of doing something transgressive... what a great feeling for a 13 year old boy. How nice to have that feeling again today, I thank Alice Cooper and other great artists for giving me such pleasures in my youth

Spot on - I couldn't have said it better (except that I was a 15 year old girl at the time)!
I WAS 19I MY BROTHER AND 2 BUDDYIES WAS 15.i drove them to the concert. We had a ball I'm 68 now my brother is 64. Have been a FAN EVER SINCE. LOVE. ALICE
Just saw Alice on the 6th in Raleigh. I've been to multiple concerts, seen just about every group/singer there is, and have seen Alice multiple times through the years. Best concert I have ever been to!!! Alice only gets better with age and his wife Sheryl looks younger on every tour. Everyone needs to go to at least one Alice concert in their life. He is awesome!
I completely and wholeheartedly agree with you . If you're a rock fan you have to see Alice live at least once .
I got addicted to his concerts so I've seen him 8 times in total now.
I will see him this Oct 22-24 here in Atlanta, GA for Shaky Knees Music Festival 2021. Rock on ✌🏻
You won't be disappointed or bored. I can promise you that. Have a blast!
He’s touring now in the U.S., next year U.K.
I agree. I've seen him 5x. Never disappointed
anybody else notice the awesome job ALL these guys did in this song ?, it took more than just alice's earie raspy voice to make it the timeless classic it STILL is ;)
