Its ridiculous that they use a modified engine from the Carrera S, but a detuned version. Also, why is it they always have a 10HP deficit between the Boxster and Cayman???

Well - I like it! However I am waiting for a Boxster/Cayman Targa [which is other than the 911 Targa not a super elegant car, but the best compromise between weight, stiffness and open air driving.
Please Porsche... make one - it should be also more expensive, using more exotic components [magnesium and carbon fibre]... just to make it as fun as possible... ah - and a cool future thing would be, to put a super high revving 4 cylinder in it [something inspired by the 919].

No matter. Porsche should be putting out a new 718 Boxster Spyder maybe at the end of this year or early next. Along with the GTS version of the Boxster/Cayman. In this version the roof better NOT be manually open/closed.
