  • Today I took the project civic down to be saftey inspected or roadworthy inspected as they call it in mexico (Victoria-Australia)

    I'm a Sydney Boy Now based in Melbourne and have been into the car scene for 20 years now, I've seen drifting come and go I've seen Silvia's and skylines go from being worth $40k down to $4k and now back up to $40k for a Rough example, I sold new cars for Nissan for 14 years and its safe to say I have NISSAN BLOOD running through my veins yet here I am being unable to afford the cars I once had which has turned me to becoming a "HONDA BOI" I have to say they are great cars I love learning about them and lets face it value for money they are ridiculously fast!

    How often do you have to do the car inspection in your country? When you do pass and start modding the car a lot, what happens if you get in trouble with the law because of the mods? What happens to you or your car if that happens?

      Michael Flare it’s just once if the cars registration has been expired for months, or a change of ownership or an unregistered car, once I mod the car it still gets inspected yearly but they just check brakes and tyres and lights mods don’t really matter

      Each state is different. NSW for example has an exemption for brand new cars up to 5 years. 6 years+ requires yearly safety inspections for the stuff Tristan mentioned.
