Your talking out your plans are some of the most interesting parts of your videos!! I've never lived on or near a farm. I'm a 70 yr old grandma and I love your explanations for your projects. I'm new to your channel. But I went back and watched ALL of your videos! All 5 years! And I really enjoy you sharing your thoughts, plans, etc. Your growing family, young dogs, and beautiful wife are make for very interesting TH-cam content! ❤ Always happy to hang out with you on Farmer Tyler Ranch!!🐃 and Buddy is just such a sweet boy!!
Retired nurse here. My favorite patients were the farmers. I would always mention to them “Y’all are strong as trees”! A small smile would come across their faces along with a nod. They were always the best patients 😊
Excellent. Unique knack for providing quality content in less than 30 minutes. Hit all of the significant points of each task, and wrapped them up in a neat little ball. FTR is the best.
If you ever think you don't have enough content, just show us more of the animals. Cows, bulls, dogs, cats, wasps. All of that is so much more interesting to me then watching most other garbage on youtube. Thanks Tyler!!
It’s so hard to be out in this heat. I commend all you guys who work in the sun/heat. Please stay hydrated and take care of yourself in this California sun!
Love watching anything you do, no matter how small or how large. You are honest about getting motivating in the heat, and who else is as honest as that. Teleporting is also funny, but it proves you are making videos that everybody wants to see.
Tyler, really looking forward to seeing your corral project progress. And I really appreciate your efforts in providing us with these videos!!! Can't get enough of them!!
You said Rivot's the head bull and then you show him shaking his head yes.😂 too funny. Seeing the thunderheads in the distance but already past you, beautiful and sad as you'll not get to enjoy the rain. Good to see corral fence started. Have a wonderful day.
Saying it out loud has several benefits: good for learning and for realizing possible mistakes! Perfectly done. Love the animals, cows and pics and cats and dogs and….😊
When trapping gophers, it’s actually better to leave the hole open because gophers don’t like the light and they will come to fill their hole back in. It makes them feel secure to know the hole is closed so that snakes and other things can’t get in the hole as well, having trapped gopher for many years I always leave the hole open and it usually has activity within an hour after I set the trap.
Hey farmer Tyler, i also live on a ranch in Kentucky. I enjoy your videos. I feed just over 100 head of beef cows. I'm not as efficient as you on working by myself with the cattle usually have to hire help when working the cows. Have a good day. 😅
When I was a kid. I used traps almost like those. Back then, if you take the front feet to the county and they gave you 10 centa a pair. This was back in the 1960s. Simpler times.
OMG Tyler, when you were getting ready to dig.... We just said "I hope he doesn't hit a water pipe like Evan did" 🤣🤣🤣 then you mentioned it too!! Poor Little Boy didn't get in on the "fun" ☺️
Farmers life is just like today….bits and pieces of everything!! Great video Tyler. Getting the holes dug must seem like you have now “really” started on the corral project.
Yes it was a short video but as usual still interesting. I, like you, enjoy watching Evan on Country view acres and I can't help but feel somewhat sorry for him because he always seems to have bad luck on his shoulders, but the great thing is he never gives up and he isn't embarrassed to show his mistakes, can't wait to see that wall of shame he's going to build
What we did to deal with wasps on our goat barns is just got fake wasp nests from a dollar store. They're super territorial! So they don't makes nests near other ones. Haven't had wasps in years!
In Louisiana we have smut grass issues also. LSU ag center tried a weed wiper on smut grass and it was not effective. You have to the base of the plant to kill it. I just want to let you know. Look forward to seeing you build one though. Good luck with the smut grass.
Have to assume those rodents are Northern Pocket Gophers, we have them up here in Alberta and I use those black hole traps covered with a tire rim (to prevent the coyotes stealing them as they are $25 here) Love your videos!
Do you have a wild fire behind you off in the distance? If so hopefully it’s contained soon and all fire fighters are safe🙏🏻 another great video! Thanks for sharing Tyler❤️
I us poison milo (grain) when use your probe just Waller it around and pour about a tbs of grain down the hole then cover up hole and u don’t have to dig the ground up. It works real gd for me and makes a big diff. Labor wise.
I have some corral modification i need to do too, but hand augering is rough in concrete soil... I'll wait for fall...i do little fencing enhancements (drive T-Posts only) when it's hot outside.
My friend i love ranching, my dad has passed away but back in the 80's and 90s he had a ranch in Arizona he had up to 90 head he had some beefmaster, Angus, and charolais. My question to you is your bull is throwing light colored females are you going to keep them as replacement, I love your bull RIVIT
At 22:06 is that smoke on the horizon over your left shoulder? I feel sorry for Evan. He always has something going wrong. Good luck with the new corral.
Over the years, the topic of cull cows has been discussed regarding the process of selection. Have you had an occasion to purchase cull cattle at the sale barn?
I also strongly recommend that Tyler, and all others who labor in sunlight, cover their heads very well. I am a retired audiologist who had to refer many male patients to specialists, because of very dangerous-looking, possible/probable melanoma on the top portions of their ears. Sun exposure is very dangerous!
I know you have to be super careful grazing horses on grass, especially at certain times of the year re: sugar content… do you have to be careful the same for cows? I’m learning a LOT since I’ve subscribed to these videos!! Just wondered about the grass issue with cows, if any… Thank you Sir for your time and videos!!!♥️🙋♀️🥰☮️🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🏴☠️‼️

I agree!!

Farming ain't the easiest job you got a hard job whatever your tape we watching thank you for the video
Thanks you!
I like the way you explain everything!

It has been a lot of years since I have seen a cow yawn. They are still adorable when they do that.

Yes! I cannot imagine 😮
Thank you for sharing. God bless.

Marcia says it all best. I have been watching the entire time and she is spot on.......thank you Tyler, your channel is my favorite. 😊
Always looking forward to your video, Tyler. 🐂😎
Tyler, really looking forward to seeing your corral project progress. And I really appreciate your efforts in providing us with these videos!!! Can't get enough of them!!
"Thinking out loud" is very effective. Also: Measure twice dig once.

Good to see corral fence started.
Have a wonderful day.
Farmer Tyler is so ambitious and accomplishes so much considering the heat and humidity of the Sacramento area.
Oh the long days of a farmer I still envy the notion of farming.
Good day on the FTR! Lots of work in the plans and future! Good update Tyler.
I really loved this video. True life farming is many little tasks in a full day. Awesome ending…the golden hour.
Love spending time with you on your ranch ❤️😎🦋
The hardest thing to do is get started. Good for you!!!
Saying it out loud has several benefits: good for learning and for realizing possible mistakes! Perfectly done. Love the animals, cows and pics and cats and dogs and….😊
Re BlG BLUE : Humble always translates to Deserving.😊
It’s too hot to be very ambitious yet you did manage to accomplish plenty. Hoping for cooler days ahead!
By the end of week. It’s supposed to be cooler. Yeah!
Im on opposite side by Atlantic temperature here is in 80s-90s today was cooler cloudy,i really enjoy your vedios,i watch country view acres too

Keep Pushing Tyler. U Rock!
Glad you ares out to start on the fence looking good.
Really looking forward to the Weed Wiper Build and use.

Enjoyed spending time with whatever you’re doing. Please be careful with it being so hot.
@@donnaml8776 Yes! But he is a Californian and sure better off with heat some times than with real cold -;)

Thanks.
Great and active day for you FT. Wish it wasn’t quite so hot for you tho! Always a pleasure!❤❤
Awesome video as always, I also saw Evan and becca hit the water pipe
1 year we had blue jays eat our wasps...hum it was fun watching
Farmers life is just like today….bits and pieces of everything!! Great video Tyler. Getting the holes dug must seem like you have now “really” started on the corral project.
Love your videos the animals are Great 😊

Another enjoyable episode, thanks. Keeps old memories alive.
I use spray foam to fill the holes in my panels to keep wasp from building in them. Adds no weight either.
So excited to see the start of this so needed project. Great start.
I REALLY enjoy your channel 👍🏼💯👏🏼💯👏🏼
Thanks Tyler,peace brother…

HaHa Evan and bekka great channel for sure
I saw Evan from Country View hit the water line also. He had to move the hole he dug a little to line up with the other 2 posts he set earlier.
That’s a large fire in the distance near the end of your video.
Certainly Yellowjacket season had a BBQ with the uninvited bugs after the beef.
Evan thought he was okay too 🤣🤣🤣
Wasps and Gophers, we are wrangling the same critters there.. LoL
Thanks 😊
Wronger!! Had to laugh! Always enjoy your videos
My motivation for farming 👊💯

In case you did not know about the weed wiper and Glyphosate. I might have commented on one of your previous videos.

Pastures are looking good. Another reason they may be improving is didn't you apply Redmond minerals on the fields last year?
❤

Need turn water hose on your tractor 🚜
What were the results of your redman additives you tried in the different areas? Do you think that also had some influence on the pasture health?
At 22:06 is that smoke on the horizon over your left shoulder? I feel sorry for Evan. He always has something going wrong. Good luck with the new corral.
Hi TYLER its me again
23:10 trash in trash out
❤when sun Is almost down "SPRAY WASP NESTS & YOU WILL GET THEM ALL & WITHOUT ANY BITES ". ❤
Hate when things go wronger 😮
Lol you thought he didn’t say that on purpose 🙄 why he laughed. Lol
👍👍❤🐂🌱
Is that haze from dust and heat near the end of the video? The cloud formation was impressive.
💖💖💖💖🙏 Wronger??? uh huh 😊
Looks like some of your fence lines are sprayed. If so what do you use? Thanks.
❤❤VIDEO ❤❤
Over the years, the topic of cull cows has been discussed regarding the process of selection. Have you had an occasion to purchase cull cattle at the sale barn?
Hi Tyler. Enjoyed your show very much. Please wear a broad brimmed hat to protect your ears. Skin cancer is no fun. 🏵
I also strongly recommend that Tyler, and all others who labor in sunlight, cover their heads very well. I am a retired audiologist who had to refer many male patients to specialists, because of very dangerous-looking, possible/probable melanoma on the top portions of their ears. 👍👍❤🐂
Don’t wanna confront wasps huh 😁
I shoulda watched a little longer 😉😃
Gophers are bad this year. Been fighting them all year. At the end of your video I see a big fire in the distance.
I would like Bree to show us how to make that bread. Any chance?
I know you have to be super careful grazing horses on grass, especially at certain times of the year re: sugar content… do you have to be careful the same for cows? I’m learning a LOT since I’ve subscribed to these videos!! Just wondered about the grass issue with cows, if any… Thank you Sir for your time and videos!!!♥️🙋♀️🥰☮️🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🏴☠️‼️
Do you keep the gopher tails? Growing up when we trapped gophers we kept the tails to turn into the township for a little bit of money.
What mountain is behind you at the end of this video?
Is a gopher the same as a mole?
What, no sun hat today?
Thanks for taking 1/2 a minute to simply explain animal (gophers) behavior. It's not always obvious to us urbanites.
Thinking 🤔 about the end by the chute what about a t-post for a stop? Just throwing a K.I.S S. solution out there for ya. Comment 😮😊
Are you closer to Hwy 5o or Interstate 80?
what is the bad part about having gophers on your property? I'm genuinely asking?
Spary the bees nest at night
Who lives at the ranch
I've wondered that too!
Hi 👋🏽 Tyler 7-23-2024❤
