This is really cool. I wonder if a lot of their confidence comes from the fact that they are about the same size and he is strong enough to hold her back. I noticed that in a lot of other large spiders the males tend to be a lot leggier but this guy looks like just as much of a tank as she is.

I can't help but notice how much more successful you are at breeding these animals compared to a number of other creators.
I'm no expert with invertebrates, but it seems to me a lot of folks get into the hobby and try to make the transition from keeper to breeder before they are ready. Unfortunately the animals often die as a result.

"A very strong feeding response" is the single most accurate description of the Theraphosa genus I've ever encountered. I haven't kept Blondi yet, but I have Stirmi and Apophysis and both of those species would cross the Atlantic and back again if they thought there was food in it for them.

I only have twelve spiders . The biggest being my salmon pink or my fringed ornamental. All grown from slings . The best to watch grow was my green bottle blue . Amazing colours as the change . Always wanted a t blondie but you can’t be sure what your buying in Colchester . Also my salmon pink is massive and just wondering how much more bigger do I want haha . What the difference in your experience Dave . Will a Goliath make her look small

Mating for male spiders is basically allowing the female to have a sharp knife at your throat the entire time. Giving her absolute control and the power to end you in less than a split second. It's crazy. At any time she can just decide to slice you open and it's not an unlikely option. Blows my mind.

As someone who is extremely terrified of spiders, I’ve been trying to watch more videos to learn more about them. I’m not at this but I can’t tell whether they wanted to kill each other, mate, or were just introducing themselves. Very strange but quite interesting
The male wants to mate, the female wants to both mate and kill I suppose
