I am absolutely terrified of spiders and can't even be in the same room with a tarantula. My boyfriend thinks I'm a weirdo for watching these as I either flip out about the tiniest spider that makes it's presence known or become paralysed with fear if the spider is bigger than a dime. Your videos are amazing and I find myself being able to tolerate spiders a little bit more after watching each video that you post. Your little velvet spider has grown on me and I find it very cute. Thank you for being you and helping me overcome my fear little by little.

@@mrspeigle1 it took a bit for me to come around but when I watched the video where she introduced it (the velvet is Wednesday right? I'm too tired to go back through the videos right now) I was like "ohhh that one is frikkin cute! Wait, wtf am I saying?!" For some reason Kat's demeanor is very calming, it's easy for me to watch a whole video without getting anxious and have to watch something else.

I bought my T stirmi 2 years ago, always wanted one and I love that I decided to spend the not small amount of money I paid for her. Got her from a responsible breeder I know personally and she’s captivity bred, was a not tiny sling 🥰
Now she’s eating like a machine and growing like there’s no tomorrow 😂
I rehoused her into a huge exoterra tank. Don’t know if I have to rehouse her again, I wouldn’t be unhappy about no more rehousings... she has some temper issues and doesn’t like me 🤣
At the moment, she eats 1-3 roaches, superworms or grasshoppers a day. She usually stops eating some days before molting, does her molting process, waits for the exoskeleton to harden and starts with eating like crazy again 🥳
She‘s the only T that I see drinking from her water dish, despite the fact I provide her enough well watered feeders and the humidity in the enclosure that she needs.
Have fun with your goliath, dear Kat 💕 it‘s beautiful 💕 greetings from Switzerland 🇨🇭

When I had my 2 Goliath Tarantulas, I kept them in 20 gallon long aquariums. At the time, both were much larger than yours, but they had room to move around. I 💕 love the way you arranged the enclosure for your Tarantula. I never knew much about the kind of plants to use, so I opted for other decorations, like miniature cattle skulls that the pet stores sell or flat pieces of rock. Also, I would feed them mice once in a while, crickets, mealworms or large hissing cockroaches!

Pothos will grow no matter what. Light, water and the thing won't care much about anything else. Hard to kill a Pothos that has both. Just like a tarantula. It's happiest if it has food and water and you leave it alone lol
About the "adult"... it could be just the video and perspective, but to me she kinda looks like that there still is some growing to do. Also, no need to be scared. Every new world T is more surprising than those big fuzzballs. In my experience they'll let you know if you're annoying them before planning attacks. But of course, respect is necessary.

Nice stirmi! My big stirmi had a blister on her abdomen when I first got her, but it went away after a couple molts. Welcome to the Goliaths!

Freshly molted Theraphosas are beautyful. And with the massive size they get, they are a must have tarantula in every collection!

Love your new T, Kat!!!! I'm in the same boat as you- while I do love this species and think they are so cool, I just don't know if I am equipped enough to keep them as a pet. But maybe one day!!!
And also, a little tip for you- a general rule for potting cuttings in soil is to do so when the roots are at least 2 inches long☺ so i definitely think your pothos was good to go.

This is an awesome T. Stirmi. I remember asking you before how you felt about getting a T. Blondi, but I definetly think T. Stirmi is a much more magnanimous tarantula.

Hello from England, I've just subbed to your channel. I'm taking delivery of my first tarantula tomorrow. A Brazilian white knee young unsexed spider. Here in England prices are extortionate. I saw a white knee adult female and the asking price was £440. I look forward to seeing more of your channel and hopefully gain some knowledge. Thank you.
