I wouldn’t say nothing could save it, all they had to do was remove the limit of one for the additional spawns. If it was able to chain the additional spawns into itself even just a few more times it could’ve been way more powerful for add clear.
I run bastion in GMs all the time and it was decent pre buff, largely because it was the only special that had unstoppable and only 1 pellet has to connect to stun and it had like a 50 meter range before pellets disappeared. Now you should be able to quickly melt unstoppables with a burst a melee and follow up burst
Seems with the colony. The initial shots need to be in their generation direction. Then spawned ones after death go towards other enemies. Here I am using Bastion a lot wayy before the buff. What a good weapon! I love it.
You did the Osteo wrong. 4 seconds on kill burst, not sustained damage burst. Bigger enemes will still burst every couple of seconds. Kills will only burst every 4 seconds. pretty serious nerf in high add area

Deterministic chaos' rework seems way better than people are giving it credit for, proccing volatile more often and still applying weaken as often as you need it. Seems to me like a really nice balance between add clear capability and DPS. Why do people act like it's terrible?
Colony is now two kills per shot. That's like having double the amount of ammo. A lil aiming is still required. A fun weapon to use if you wanna try something else than a Sword, RL or machine gun.
Cerberus with Warrig sounds nice and bastion sounds like it has a version of both trench barrel and one-two punch so that with synth. Or wormgod. Could be worth a test
I think you forgot about 2 exotic synergistic pairing with bastion: pyrogale and synthoceps. Synth is already boosting all melee by 100%, so there's a good posability that, if it really is a double damage increase with bastion, it could make throwing hammers 200% stronger, potentially bringing them back or even stronger than old synth levels of damage. Unfortenantly the damage increase seems to only work once, so if you want to do damage with supers then pyrogale is the way to go. Burning Maul is coded to be a special kind of melee so, theoretically, with bastion you can also do a double damage, 100% increase to BM's 1 hit super, and consittering that it already did crazy damage with synths before, I can't wait to try this out
Small note about Osteo Striga: the poison burst on-kill was given a cooldown, not the one proc’d by rapid hits. So it only really nerfs it for ad clearing. Also, Dead Man’s Tale is ALWAYS cool 😎
Crazy you tested these already. I've been playing, logged into the game for 5 hours and stuck at the 3 boss. The game just keeps kicking me everytime I beat it and I have to repeat it. Nice video tho.
Colony's extra spiders only spawn from "tougher enemies", using it on red bars isn't gonna do anything lol probably why it seemed lackluster. Probably still not gonna move the needle much regardless but yea lol And Osteos bursts on direct targets is unchanged, 4 second cooldown is only on the poison burst explosion kills so you can't just infinitely chains bursts like you used to...seems minor but definitely felt the difference(Necro/Osteo main lol)
As a melee guy the bastion rework is fantastic, im not even sure I’ll take it out of my loadout now. Did the whole legendary campain solo with skullfort-bastion
I kinda expected that for colony. The Tracking was never great, something I noticed when trying out the gun multiple times. (just really dissapointing I was right) Osteos 11 hit requirement for poison didn't change at all, just from doing kills it got changed Bastion I am very happy about, as I used this with a Felwinter Solar build where you spam melee and finish off whatever survives with Bastion. Since they are debuffed it's easy Also as the Sidearms guy, Ratking is very different now. Like it's a new gun different Man, people really need to chill if smth gets nerfed, and also stop overhypign when smth gets buffed
I think you should retest colony in a more ad dense activity instead of a lost sector where a lot of the ads are spread out. I used it in the legendary campaign during ad dense moments and it worked very well. And the ammo economy for the weapon is decent. Cool vid though!
The Colony should ATTACH on to enemies and shred over time like Dragon’s Breath. The colony spawns should be buffed up by one or two more at least, one is so lame 🥲

I was actually just using this out of curiosity because I found out it increases melee damage and I’m ngl the synergy between them and liars handshake is absolutely brilliant running around with stylish and the stasis fragment slowing shit with my dodge killing and stacking up combination blow liars handshake poccing every second melee and adding in the boost with bastian was definitely noticeable the gun itself does more damage and increases your melee damage pretty decent based on my hour of gameplay with it nothing game breaking but definitely fun then again it’s all I have access too at the moment until I unlock the rest of prismatic 😅
DMT is from the weekly rotator mission. I think Presage. Look up how to do it, though to be honest, use the games team finder system because a lot of people speed run through it. It's not really difficult unless you solo it. If you haven't gotten Dead Messenger from the Obscura weekly exotic mission, it's a fun weapon. Wave frame breach GL that can change elements like Hard Light. Nice unusual item.
Typical community overreaction. The Divinity one was so obvious. I have no idea why people tap fire to start the bubble. You should have always held the trigger down to get it started and then tap fire. It was almost instant before to get the bubble (I think in crucible and it should be the same in PvE when CoolGuy tested it and the frames it’s only 6 bullets or something like that for the cage to show up…. So a 75% increase is basically nothing… round it up to 10 bullets or so. Unfortunately the community is not the brightest and all they see is 75% and that’s close to double what it was before so they translate that to world ender. When it all reality it’s almost un-noticeable if you start firing the weapon as you should.
Having played the heck out of Cerb early on, I mean a lot. It's not an accurate weapon. But it sprays ammo in a wide area and against fat targets all the shots hit, and in the old days you actually did more damage than it indicated due to some glitch. Also not sure if it still does *increasing* damage at mid range, unlike the drop off everything else has. You were actually better served staying a little back when unloading into a target. There were times in crucible when I could melt two people at once just firing in their direction.

I gave Colony a shot and unequipped it after 30 minutes using it in the Legend campaign. It's just a dead weapon, nothing can save it.

I tested that too at the start, but every other add was exploding even though 4 seconds didnt pass

4 seconds did in fact pass with Osteo, it just doesn't seem like it because it's usually a fast paced game, and enemies were being killed slowly
