Bellissimo:) I make this for special occasions with Maryland jumbo lump crab meat and pieces/parts of King crab. After pulling the meat from the king crab I use the shells from the king crab to simmer in my milk and steep before using a coffee filter to catch any grit to use for my bechamel:)
It looks lovely and has all those Italian flavours that we all love: parsley, garlic, olive oil, bechamel, tomatoes... No parmesan with fish is very traditional!

Bravo, I do seafood dish with all sorts of seafood with a very tasty tomatoe sauce and I use angel pasta very very thin spaghetti like pasta. Really good 🥰🥰🥰

What a wonderfully different take on traditional lasagna! Oh, those little clams!! And, I love squid. I would help my mother, every Christmas Eve, clean the fresh squid. hi Lisa, yes it was a lovely lasagna. The recipe is quite lengthy, but worth it. One can cheat and buy fresh pasta sheets, but home made are thinner (should be!) and lighter. 😀🌺 best wishes, Vicky
@@pastagrannies Thanks, Vicky! I’ve made lots of fresh pasta, so that’s not a problem. It’s all the seafood prep and cookery that’s a bit daunting. It will be a good Sunday project someday very soon.
But to tell the truth, since TH-cam existed and since more and more cooking channels have appeared, I have no longer touched some magazines or cookbooks that I had, I have no longer picked them up. A video is a very practical thing, because seeing the various steps with your eyes is worth more than 100 written words.

I have never seen this type of lasagna before. But it looks delicious! I will definitely try to prepare this at home (as close as you can get with the ingredients available).
Seafood lasagna I would say it is not something very common in Italy. But that obviously makes us realize how many versions, how many variations of lasagna there are. Although I actually personally prefer the meat version more.
