I was born in Frosinone before immigrating to Canada. The pasta and sauce is still made on Sundays; a tradition that my late mother started and I continue with my family! I never get tired of watching these videos!❤❤❤
Oh, did that dish of pasta look AMAZING!!! Fine pasta is my absolute favorite cut and seeing it served with a savory sauce and on its own special platter made my mouth water. Maria truly is a talented craftsman, but a “Pasta Granny”??? She is much too young to be a granny! TFS, Sharon🤗♥️🍝
I love her! Sharp of wit with her adoring husband on the sidelines she is another in your long series of great ladies. That sauce alone must have been heavenly, and always with the wine in it. Thanks again for another great episode. You made my week.
I'm looking forward to Pasta Grannies getting more than a million subs! You deserve a big number of following because you give valuable and wholesome content. We're loving these nonnas and their pastas even more! 🥰
thank you! Pasta Grannies has over a million followers each on Instagram and Facebook, but not here on TH-cam, which is a bit sad because I think of it primarily as a TH-cam channel! I started it (in a very slow way) in 2014 so it would be cool to get to million to celebrate 10 years 😀🎉 best wishes, Vicky
Thank you Maria Grazia, just wonderful looking pasta, your husband Pasquale must be exhausted!!!!!!!🤣 He enjoyed eating it as much as you enjoyed making it, Grazie tutti.x Ramon.
It's fun to see a rainy day and the pasta seemed perfect for the weather. Was there an explanation for why it is served on the wooden platter other than tradition?
hi Sharmish, take a look at this video: th-cam.com/video/LWx4ngDeUzg/w-d-xo.html and one day we will make it to Capri - torta caprese is an excellent suggestion. Best wishes, Vicky
It is very clever to have a high surface area pasta specifically for being effectively a combination soup-and-carbs meal in winter. I am bemused that after adding all those chunks of dead pig to the sauce they weren't served with it, though...maybe they are a second course, or a week of sandwitches?
Back in the old days, meat was something rarely eaten, and served on special occasions, so everyone filled up on the pasta first, then the meat was the 'secondo' as miseentrope says. And from ladies' comments over the years, I think priority was given to the men? 🙂🌺 best wishes, Vicky
I never get tired of these nonnas!
And the husband is there waiting patiently for his dinner 👍😋😋🤗

Ahhhh, Frosinone! My father's family is from Frosinone, near Stangolagalli. The dishes are delicious and bring back memories. 🥰

Just marvelous! Thank you. I did wonder why it should be placed on a wooden dish. That's very interesting.
I think it's because at one point wood was something you could forage, and crockery had to be bought? 🙂🌺 best wishes, Vicky
my comfort channel 🥰 I always play this trying to fall asleep! thanks for all the content over the years, i hope you keep going for a long time
So simple and delicious! I’ll cook them next Sunday.

Another fantastic video.
Bravissima 🤩
Pasqua is a very lucky man!!
Brava Maria Grazia 🇮🇹😘
Bravaaaaaaa❤
I noticed you used her first and last name each time. Was she particular about its usage? Her pasta looked perfect!
(Two first names not a surname)
hi Laura, Maria Grazia is her first name - our ladies often have two names put together. 🙂🌺 best wishes, Vicky
I love fini fini and I can’t wait for seafood lasagne!
That’s a big rolling pin!
What happened to the pork in the beginning?
❤️❤️❤️
🥳
PRO!!! 😮
❤❤❤
Wo ist denn das Fleisch geblieben, nur die Soße ist ja etwas wenig, da kriegt man nach 2 Stunden gleich wieder Hunger. 😅
💐🙏
Ugh, I would sell my left kidney to try this pasta 😫😫🤤🤤
Hi
Do you want graphics designer
I need to know more about the flour. i live in the 🇺🇸
I would like to comment, but everything has already been said 😎😎😎😁
Ma la versione della salsa estiva, come la fa?😮
And the sausages‽??
Pasta would be the primo, sausages would be served as secondo. Not together in Italian meal structure.
She didn’t serve the meat with the sauce, what happens to it?
hi Jennifer, the Italian approach is to serve the meat as a 'secondo' or main course, after the pasta. 🙂🌺 best wishes, Vicky
What happens to all that meat??
It is very clever to have a high surface area pasta specifically for being effectively a combination soup-and-carbs meal in winter. I am bemused that after adding all those chunks of dead pig to the sauce they weren't served with it, though...maybe they are a second course, or a week of sandwitches?
Correct. Pasta would be the primo, sausages and rib meat would be served as secondo. Not together in Italian meal structure.
Assolutamente

she said let it rest for one hour not a couple of hours.
