If your open for more power metal i recomment you the band 'Kamelot'. Especially the live version of 'Elizabeth 1, 2, 3'. It tells the story of a famous evil queen, who has bath in blood of young maidens to stay young for eternity. The song is like a theater play, brilliant sung by the really talented Roy Khan. One of the best singers in power metal. Please check the band out. Maybe Helge agree with my recommentation? ^^
Tony said in the A and P Reacts interview in his opinion he thinks Sonata Arctica are more Prog Metal than anything else. I agree. They've earnt the right to do whatever the hell they want. Its the "fans" who project their own issues who have a problem with it. Tony has said Talviyo wasn't their best album for multiple reasons. I love this song and so called fans can seethe about this song all they want. Every member of The Wolfpack gets their shine on as they should.
Coincidentally i just watched that video today 😅 I was smiling when he said that 😃. And he did talk about the mixing of the album and it not being the best. I really enjoyed that interview.
The album is good, not as fast as his first works but on cold days it has a cold atmosphere and the right rhythm, just like when the album came out (talviyö) in 2019 I didn't like it but little by little I found interesting things about it and it ended for pleasing, greetings friend, thanks for the reaction.

Ans it doubles as a metaphor, since thunderbird is also a mythological bird that represents stormy weather; ”the thunderbird flies away” is a reference that the storm and darkness is finally going away, and maybe he’ll be happy in the future someday

This one is good, but the album has hidden gems. As a writer, i think you will be amazed by the analogies and metaphors of Storm the armada and Demons cage PS: From the new album you must try Shah Mat, especially if you like chess 😊

Hey, Saeed. I am happy you're still reacting to sonata. 'Whirlwind' and 'the Raven still flies' are my favourite songs on this underrated album. Imo better writen than this single. Check them out (if Helge agrees ^^). Only issue of this album is the really bad sound mixing. It's annoying, because the songs itself are really nice.
