I fell back on my butt a few months ago while ice skating and my muscles that are above my lungs hurt when i used them I clapped my hands and it hurt really bad
6 months into learning, i fell, snapped my elbow and had to have 2 surgeries to fix it. I want to go back but I just dont think I would be able to get over that fear
When I was trying ice skating for the first time with my amateur cousin I fell 5 times and I landed on my thighs and I catched myself with my hands so I was mouthing for my cousin to come help me😂😂 but she didn’t hear me so I had to sit there in pain until a worker came and helped me up😅 I had to take a 10 minute break until my hands and thighs were feeling better❤❤
This gives my flashbacks to the time I fell directly into my butt and legs infront of me and then span on my butt in circles… like a literal cartoon character
yesterday I was in my ice skating class and we did something I am so shit at and I fell and someone like skated on my fingernail and it started bleeding, my first blood on ice :D
Idk but this reminded me of a story I had so I came to my lesson as usual (it was right after a filling) I was warming up when I fell out of no where it didn’t hurt but I fell right into the wet ice since it hasn’t dried yet it was like a puddle I got my pants wet so I had to spend the whole lesson with wet pants and being REALLY cold lol
No when I say I figure skate ppl are like “OMG that’s so cool!! You’re probably so good!” Then there’s me not even be able to do a camel spin or let alone a toe loop when they are thinking I can do triple axel 🤡
yep they hurt, i tried it yesterday and got a skin bubble on my foot (not sure what its called) 2 of my knees are injured, and basically after a nap ny hands hurt 😍
Ikkkk my friends are always like, “oh you ice skate right? Do a quadruple axel!” A QUAD?????? I’ve barely gotten my single axel like, if I could do quads I wouldn’t be here, I’d be somewhere else trailing for the Olympics rn yah know??
People think falling on ice isn’t as bad until they fall on chopped up ice(caused by hockey skaters/yes I hate every hockey player I have ever met)and their hands start burning. Edit: nobody say to wear gloves
but a fall that really hurts is messing up a 3 turn and destroying the tissue is ur ankle then CANT SKATE FOR 2 WEEKS WHEN THEY START PRACTICING FOR THE ICE SHOWWWW
I just went ice skating and I hurt my leg from falling stabed myself with my skate skinned my elbow and got a blister that peeled and my leg turned black btw also I’m hurt so bad that I can’t walk good lol
Yesterday I fell flat are my face my tooth cut the inside of my lip pretty bad and I couldn't eat anything besides yogurt my knee also was pretty bad and I had a bloody nose for 20 min
