I remember when I decided to take up ballet in my 20’s as I never had the opportunity as a child. I did class 5-6 days a week and it was such an absolute joy for many many years of my adult life. We are never too old to live our dreams!

I'm going to college this fall and I think I'm going to try figure skating again! I did it briefly as a kid and again as a teenager but I really did love it so seeing videos like yours where adults are actually skating is really inspiring.

Toe loops are the absolute bane of my existence, my coach hates them too. They're allegedly one of the easiest jumps but there are so many little things that make or break the jump. I've only been skating since late November but I still get mad at myself for messing it up more times than not lol

Thanks for the great video. It's funny how we all have jumps that are our personal nemesis. I got the toe loop right away, but after several years I still struggle with my loop😂

This is truly an inspiration to me especially at 40. I just started back skating after 20 years 06/08 of this year, and just made it to Adult basic 2 last week. I have a coach now that’s a 6x world champion in synchronized skating. She’s preparing me for my 1st competition. Nervous and so excited at the same time….

I went to a free skate that was so packed and ended up getting bad crash with big guy on rental skate and hurt my knee badly. I now only desire empty skate sessions

Yikes! I totally understand. When its full I don't do as much. I try to work around non skaters as best I can. If it is full is just do laps and work on edges or stay in the center and do spins.
