the husband who had an affair child is so freaking infuriating. he creates a mess and his saint doormat of a wife is the one putting in the work. honestly he’s pathetic
nothing makes me want to flip my shit more than a narcissistic person ranting about how everyone else is supposed to be fixing their messes. the fact that my kids father hid all those tendencies until after I was already pregnant with our first child makes my life a living hell
Story 1, Girl!! You were physically attacked by a grown @$$ man. Don't feel bad because you won the fight! He could have seriously hurt you, so he was taught a lesson. KEEP YOUR HANDS TO YOURSELF!!
I understand her position honestly, she didn't feel bad that she won, she felt bad that she kicked him while he was down and relished in it. She doesn't feel bad for him, she feels bad she felt like that
The ex in story 2 basically let her mask slip off and showed OP who she truly is. For me, the fact that she wants nothing to do with their infant daughter infuriates me more than the fact that she gave him herpes. She put on a damn good mask and hid that she's basically a narcissistic sociopath who doesn't give a fuck about anyone but herself.
I think the ex in story 2 was broken over the fact that the baby she expected to be a boy turned out to be a girl. Sometimes it happens, with the parent even hysterically rejecting the baby while accusing others of taking the "real baby" away. Of course I'm just speculating, but I think that's why she transformed internally right after giving birth, and when found out she kicked her parents out of her life too.
For story 2 I may be thinking too much about it, but maybe because it ended up being a girl the ex started distancing herself from the child since it wasn’t a boy to name after her brother.
Possible. Considering her intense resolve to name her child after her deceased brother then finding out her child isn't a boy, she could have felt like the opportunity was stolen from her and she decided to act out by cheating. Although this could have started much earlier when OP didn't want their child named after his wife's brother.
52:20 Check your math. He's 43. She's 29. 43/2 + 7 = 28.5 which is less than 29. Unusually large but by your own metric, not unacceptably so. I don't have a problem with this, and the friend said nothing about power dynamics and only said they don't want her distracted by dates. Which means they don't want her to date _anybody,_ not just OP. And that's an unacceptable amount of control they're trying to exert. NTA. At least based on that. I'm amazed by how skewed the comments are against him. 57:20 Welp, never mind. That changes everything. YTA.
The "he became the man I married again" story Lol as soon as OP told us he was only at work/home/parents my first thought was "he had a conversation with a coworker that made him realize he's gonna lose her" )) but of course, reddit ppl will insist that everyone is a cheater till the end of time
Sometimes in these stories like in The last story I like how they mentioned that there was a certain part that happened and then people constantly will ask what happened when it was already in the story so you could go back and reread😂
Age does not matter to some. Depending on the dynamics of the girl she maybe more mature than you realize, I am celebrating my 50th and my husband was 19 years older than me when we married
And unfortunately there are still some cultures that do have arranged marriages at a very young age so when he said that they were arranged when they were seven and ended up having the oldest when they were 10 it does kind of line up with what he's talking about
Story number 4.. way to go girl and be an awesome mama. Your kids are going to grow up and be awesome.. and in my eyes, all 3 kiddos are considered yours. The sperm donor doesn't get to claim anything!!
I was simply stating the obvious lol, I said it right after. If there's one thing I've learned about the internet and doing commentaries, it's worked best for me just get the obvious out of the way. Leaves less room for people to make assumptions and accusations. But perhaps it might have been too obvious 😂
Story 2: I think the wife wanted the boy to replace her brother and when she didn't get that, she had a mental break. It's a good thing they got a girl, the heavy load put on a boy would have been immense and not appropriate for a child.
The two wife story its possible in the husband's side because I know there a place in the Philippines where there tradition is the tow gets merid when there 12
Yup, there are several cultures where marriage is arranged and if the marriage falls apart, money has to be paid back to the brides family. It's not unlike paying back dowery money.. OMG people, open up your minds that the world doesn't work just one way.

The last story, the one with the nanny, how is that guy an ahole for going on a date with the nanny? It's not a marriage proposal. It's a date. I really I don't see the issue. It would be an issue if somebody that lives in the home dated the nanny but if my friend dated my nanny, I truly would not see the issue. Also, I love the comment that somebody wrote on Reddit that says that she's too young for him. He's 43. She is 29. They said a good rule of thumb is to divide your age in half then add seven anything younger than that would be inappropriate. Then the person continued to say because of that math that she is too young for him. If you divide his age by two then add seven equals 28 and 1/2, the woman is 29. How does that equal younger? Also, why are people so focused on the age? They're two consenting adults and if they are okay with it, why do others care? The girl is almost 30 years old. I would be pissed if somebody tried to tell me at the age of almost 30 that I couldn't date somebody because they're too old for me. If she were 19 they would have a point but she's almost a 30-year-old woman. I think the choice is hers lol. People are f****** nuts these days man. Just funny. Ps. I am a 40-year-old mother and if a guy friend of mine was interested in dating my nanny and she agreed I as her employer would have zero Right to tell him no. As long as her and him dating do not affect the quality of her care in my child nor are any rules broken while she is watching my child just like any other job, why would I have any right to say anything to them?
@sarbear72 First off, mind ya damn business is something that was drilled into me by many people. At the same time, step up to help others was also hammered into me. The problem is that people are having a problem with a 29 yr old woman dating an older man. In that instance, step the fuck off, mind your damn business. The initial post should have died out, and have been left to be dealt with privately. HOWEVER, after the lies are lifted, then we see some problems, and at that point yeah, step up. The content of this post here on yt in the exact context of being 29 is entirely valid. It's like a bunch of younger guys are unleashing some blocked up hate of older people and their own inability to meet a woman to marry on others. Ya'll ain't got the right to control other people in that context. Step the fuck off. Furthermore, if the a hole in question was absolutely fabulously wealthy, how much would opinions change? Because they usually become a lot more silent when that's the case.
It's not a good idea ,Because his friend is the nanny's employer. What happens if OP and then any break up?.What happens if the negatively impacts the relationship between the employers/employee?
13:26 um why dose ops vary young kid have/use a iPad or even have some level of access to the internet/youtube bruh can op not put is kid to sleep with out her watching coco melon And skibidi toilet like really op 😂😂 19:20 and you gave her a iPad no way
Story 1: I know Reddit hates right wingers, so naturally the brother is going to be worse and more at fault in their book. But the GF kicked him while he was on the ground, that’s *way* beyond acceptable behavior. You can seriously hurt someone like that, kicking them while on the ground can cause internal bleeding or organ damage. So she’s way worse here than the brother, no matter how much he supports the mean orange man.
I think for me at least its that the girlfriend admits she did something wrong and that mutual fight or not she went too far and wants to make sure she doesn't repeat it. The brother meanwhile is refusing to accept that they git in a drunk fight and he has some blame for an argument going too far and becoming a fight.
One side takes accountability, the other doesn't. Honestly it's still not clear: if GF was assaulted like she claims, this kick was excessive use of self defense, but you can't just say she is the only one at wrong. Brother shouldn't have started the fight. If she lied and did throw the first punch, then she's definitely the problem.
In Story 1, I’m sorry, but I’m not happy with how anyone handled this. OP’s GF got drunk the first time she went to one of his family get togethers and got into a political argument with basically a stranger? OP’s brother is undeniably a bastard, likely a racist, and almost certainly threw the first punch; but an adult woman got into a drunk shouting match with this person. She didn’t deserve to get punched, the argument never should’ve turned physical. BUT, the argument shouldn’t have happened in the first place. Most adults don’t get drunk enough with people they’re meeting for the first time to confront them about their political beliefs. Most people would keep their mouth shut, and bring it up as concerning behavior to their partner after the party was over. She’s 24, not 16; old enough to understand that confronting another adult about a polar opposite political belief while both parties are drunk is probably an awful idea. Is she going to pull the same stunt with a 300-pound skinhead at a bar because he made a horrible, racist comment? She comes across as extremely foolish and immature.

Story 5 lady is an airhead. "Oh he wasn't cheating on me, he was just exploring his options! Ha Ha Ha-"
