    Hey sticker crafters!! So I took your advice and learned how to calibrate my Cricut - WHAT A DIFFERENCE. If your stickers are not cutting evenly, learn how to calibrate your Cricut in this video HERE - th-cam.com/video/Dt_OQUnjiqw/w-d-xo.html

      did putting the poster board in it laminate both sides? im trying to laminate stickers to put in resin. the resin can eat the ink on stickers so im trying to do research on how to use a laminator to make the stickers fully waterproof

    I have a protip for you! Since the laminate is glossy, its hard for the circuit machine to read the registration marks if there’s Direct light shining on your machine . The glossiness throws off the light sensor whenever it’s trying to read the registration marks. Bright light or direct sunlight well Reflect from the glossiness on the paper, and somehow it will not read the registration marks correctly. What I found works best is having your machine in a dark shadowed area or even with your lights completely turned off whenever you load your mat into the circuit , it will read the registration lines better Because The laminate is not being reflected from the light . Try it out! It’s the only thing I found best to get the perfect exact cuts for glossy stickers.

    A tip for your laminated sheet. Put two pages of stickers back to back. This way when you cut the laminated pouch you do not waste half of it. Instead you have two pages ready for the cricut ;)

    Love the video! I currently use a laminator with Amazon laminating sheets but haven’t tried the avery sheets yet. Also, you just need to recalibrate your Cricut to re-read the registration marks. I usually do this 3-4 times until I get it EXACTLY on the black marks.

    So the white can be corrected two ways. 1. Make sure you have "bleed" on when printing. If you still have an issue you probably need to do a Print Then Cut Calibration. (Click the three bars--upper left (in Design Space) and select calibration. The software will walk you through the rest.). My guess is though that option 1 will take care of the issue for you.

    Hello! I use the same laminator and pouches! I never add anything anything else inside the pouch, just the one sticker sheet. Then when the cricut cuts it, it is laminated on both sides, however it doesn't affect the sticker at all. It still peels perfectly.

    You should be able to cut the pouch so the sheets are inside the Cricut lines….you should put two sided tape in a couple of spots at the top to keep the lamination sheet lined up. I’ve done something similar to this with my laminator and it worked great.
    Ps…do you prefer the thicker or thinner and you can buy different mil of lamination pouches . Happy holidays and a new year .

  • @marzmall0
    @marzmall0 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hi, did you add bleed on before you printed the stickers? This helps with the Cricut not cutting exactly around colored background stickers. If that’s not the problem, probably just calibration is off. Hope this helps :)

    I found my circuit wasn’t cutting the stickers perfectly either. Two options. Add an offset, however if it’s still off, it will still come out wonky. The other step is, calibrating your machine. Over time the machines cuts become off and you need to calibrate it every now and then. Mine was so bad I had to calibrate it four times lol it’s a long process but so worth it for those perfect cuts in the end.
